Company ""Replaced it""...!!!
I got a dud. Great sounding radio ,easy on the battery. But it started cutting off like it had a short or loose wire. It got so bad I stomped it in a fit of rage. Wrote a bad review. And then the company reached out to me and replaced the radio free of charge. No hassle, no 100 questions, they said try this one. And it works fine now. No loose wire, no short. Just great on the go music. No other company has ever done this before. They reached out to me and asked nothing in return. So how in the heck do you beat that??? I have bought 2 others from Amazon before Vondior's and they are all great. How many companies do that?? They really are great little radios and easy on batteries. Small enough to fit in a windbreaker or sweat jacket, or small pack or fanny pack. Don't go camping or fishing without one. I keep one in my tackle box for weather updates. And another one in my B.O.B. and the other one in my daily man bag. 1st rate company for doing that. This is an updated review. Thank you Vondior...!!! Peace.

Perfect Emergency Portable Radio
This tiny WB/FM/AM battery powered radio is the perfect portable size. The set up is simple, just install the batteries that came with it, pull up the antenna, select the band you want, then tune to the station of your choice. The radio quality is very good and the noise level is very low if any. The features are very easy to use and understand. Nothing high tech, very similar to the transiter radios we had back in the day, but this one feels a lot more durable and solid. Not cheap plastic. I highly recommend for emergency use when there's no electricty.

Dose the job. Watch your battery power.
Very slim and compact. Easily fits into any bag or purse. I was able to get the weather which was my main reason for purchasing. Picks up the all the AM and FM channels that my other radios do. Sound is fine for a small one speaker device. Can go pretty loud. Volume knob is a bit sensitive. No power button; have to turn the volume all the way down to turn it off. I thought it had stopped working it the batteries were dead. It will drain them even if it is not on.

Compact emergency weather radio
I've been very impressed with the portable radio! It's compact and easy to carry, making it perfect for emergencies and outdoor activities. The reception is excellent on all channels (NOAA, AM, FM), even in areas where other radios struggle. The audio quality is clear, and I appreciate the headphone jack for private listening. Battery life is strong, and it's been reliable whenever I need it. This radio is a must-have for anyone who wants peace of mind during severe weather, and it also makes a thoughtful gift for loved ones. Highly recommended!

I should have known better to stay with a Brand name radio after 2 strikes.
Unfortunately they don't make them like they used to, I was looking for a reasonably priced am/fm pocket radio and after reading all the positive reviews I decided to order one, it worked problem free for a few days then turned itself off a couple seconds after turning on... It had gotten to the point where it would instantly stop playing a second or two after turning on, instead of dealing with the hassle of trying to return it I decided to cut my losses, upon hearing this my daughter purchased a 2nd am/fm pocket radio (in the picture, on left side) that also stopped working within a couple days after delivery , my daughter actually apologized for buying me something that didn't work, I said it wasn't her fault and you get what you pay for (and both radios were cheap in today's market), and I should know better and stay with a name brand known for quality... To my surprise she had purchased a Panasonic model RF-2400D AC/Battery radio that is fantastic, from now on its name brand only instead of trying to save a few bucks.

Back To Basics - Exactly What I Wanted
This is exactly the radio I was looking for. No, it's not one with all the fancy bells and whistles. In fact it's like the old fashioned manual tuning radio I used to have. The problem with automatic tuning in remote areas is it picks up on radio frequency signals but sometimes the actual voice/music signal can be slightly off where you can't get that part. Manual tuning you can fine tune in on the voice/music part you want. I like the sound, there's a speaker on the back as well as front and it sounds like stereo. As far as reception goes this unit picks up stations I didn't even know were there because due to a weaker signal. This right here makes it great, and I'm not even using the extended antenna either. This is it, back to basics and easy to use. The weather band works great also, no it's doesn't have alert function and all that, but when you tune the station you get your weather forecast. Small and fits in you pocket size but great overall unit.

Good until not good
It worked fine when I tested it before I went camping. I had to use it in earnest last night as bad weather was moving in. Thank goodness it worked during the storms. The next morning I turned on for the forecast and nothing! Just nothing, so I put another set of new batteries in it, and nothing. It's supposed to be stormy again and no radio for information. UPDATE: The company reached out immediately and was faster than lightning in taking care of me. They were accommodating in every way and replaced the radio overnight! That was an unexpected surprise because in many cases, good customer service is a thing of the past. I have only used it once during a storm a day after the replacement came in. The reception was not as clear as the first one that got me through very severe storms in a small camper, in this case, it was as clear as a bell the whole time and I did not have to keep pointing it in different directions to get it to come in. The replacement didn't have the same clarity and had to be held in different directions to get the reception. I changed the rating because of the excellent customer service and because the radio does work, it just needed some tweaking. The AM/FM band comes in loud and clear.

Seems like a pretty good emergency radio. Nice and small, easy to use, and good enough quality. Just know that there's only one NOAA station left in Ontario area and it's in French.
