    Fixed the starter on my 2004 Pontiac GTO LS1

It's a competitively priced starter. Much cheaper than the big box stores. Installation was fairly easy, and mostly a direct bolt on to my 2004 Pontiac gto.I say mostly because the smaller wire did not fit directly onto the starter, it was too small, so I had to enlarge the hole to fit.Otherwise, mostly a plug and play for my LS1.Car starts quickly and the first time now, I'm not sure if it's every started this well before, and I've owned the car 8+ years.That's why I didn't leave 5 stars, was not completely plug and playAs long as you don't need the starter right away, this is a great, cost -effective way to replace an OEM starter for a 2004 Pontiac gto.

This starter fit and finish are correct comparedto my failed O.E. starter.The first month it started so fast it was truly amazing.  My car never started that fast even when it was new.Since then it has slowed down at least by half.And when warm it drags.I went to my local mechanic shop to have it tested and they gave it two hard tests back to back and the results showed - Good conditionSo far so good.

Nothing like finding out your new starter doesnt even bolt up to your motor. Think its a old school sbf starter pattern but not sure.
