Mr Davis was my next door neighbor. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Insight into the loved one with Alzheimer's disease *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 11, 2012* This book was written by a man who had Alzheimer's. He wrote his feelings until he was no longer able to. Then his wife took up the book and finished it for him. I read this book some years ago when my sister's husband had Alzheimers. He was such a precious gentle Christain man. He was never violent or hurtfull to anyone but we just didn't understand some of the things he was doing. Such as calling the police at 2 A.M. and reporting there was a stranger in his house. This book gives such insight to what the patient goes through in this devistating process into this disease. What they feel in the early stages and as they progress. I never would have thought of the fear and loneliness they may feel as they know they are losing mental function. I think it helped our family to understand and be more accepting of some things that our loved one did during this time. When I found these books at Amazon at such a reasonable price, I purchased these two books to give to friends who's loved ones have Alzheimer's and are going through the same thing that we went through.
