Great replacement and cost.
I was skeptical but decided it would be really easy to return if I didn't like and I got them in 1 day with prime. I had just got a used classic Aeron and the vinyl arm pads were scratched up pretty bad. I wasn't sure what to expect but was actually impressed when I opened the box. They look great and I believe are slightly more "cushiony" than the stock vinyl pads. Install was super easy. A lot of people stated that it was hard to screw but I found that it was only because there is no tread however the screws that came with my Aeron went in fine and I didn't have to force very hard. Anyone that has used a self tapping screw before will recognize the force you need to screw in. Overall I'm very impressed. It looks and feels great. It may be 1cm shorter than the stock however I have plenty of space for my elbow. I don't notice it at all. If you don't want to sell your arm for a new arm pad this is the way to go.

Great replacement for original armrests
Got to say, these absolutely work for me. The fake leather on my original Aeron armrests started cracking. These armrests are less than a tenth the cost of OEM replacements. These armrests look better than the originals. They are not quite as soft but they are comfortable. Install took a few minutes. Overall, for the price, it's a no-brainer to get these to fixed your cracked originals. I suspect that these will last for a decade or more.

Way better than living with a cracked armrest
These are plenty good enough for me. The shape is slightly different from my originals, but I actually like the new one better, it seems more modern and functional. Perhaps there were "versions" of the armrest and this is the later version. OEM armrests are allegedly available from the Herman Miller parts website, but the wait is always posted as 6 weeks and I expect I would receive exactly the same item from exactly the same factory in China. In any case, these are fully satisfactory and fit like the originals. You'll need a PH3 (Phillips #3) screwdriver and it helps a lot if you run in the screws with the armrest on the bench before trying to fit it to the arm. It takes substantial pressure to get the screws started but once the thread is established you can run the screw in again much more easily. The hole size is exactly right (I measured it), just the plastic is firm and you're cutting threads into it the first time. This is how you want it, it means the screws are going to hold firmly and not work themselves out on you. Overall, definitely a thumbs up. Would do it again and recommend.

Fit Aeron chair perfectly, but very firm - not soft like original leather
My ancient Aeron chair leather arm pads finally tore apart. The leather was incredibly soft and the arm rests softly cushioned. These vinyl pads are a perfect fit and install easily. The chair looks new again, but is not as comfortable as it used to be as the pads have very little give. Soft enough that my elbows don't hurt, so good enough.

I like them better than the original!
My arm pads had become cracked and messy after 7 years and I decided to do a refresh on the chair and replace some worn out parts (and add a headrest). I like these arm rests better than the original but there is definitely a bit off-gassing with the material ... but that will subside pretty quickly I think. The material is firmer than the original and that is pretty evident in the pictures. There is a bit of give, but not a lot. To me, these are a perfect replacement and are an inexpensive way to refresh your Aeron chair. I have a size B and they fit perfectly and installed with the original screws. They DO NOT come with replacement screws, so save the ones that come with your chair. Definitely worth the <$23 to freshen up part of my chair. I also added roller blade casters and have a headrest coming. A nice refresh vs the temptation to buy a new chair.

Decent Replacement Value
Each arm pad is wrapped in a protective sleeve with a second individual layer of bubble wrap. Installation is easy as the original screws and hole locations match the replacement arm pad perfectly. As the provided images show (the replacement is on the right in the pics), the replacement is more substantial than the original and is also more firm. It's not rock hard, it's just not as forgiving as the original pad. To the touch, the vinyl feels as expected -- not scratchy but not leathery smooth either. The original pads feel smoother to the touch, but I suspect that the feel of the replacement will be similar as it wears. My only concern is how the seam along the length of the replacement pad will wear over time. Regardless, I am pleasantly satisfied with this purchase given its price over Herman Miller's current $110+ premium. I recommend these replacement arm pads with confidence.

I prefer these to the original arm pads!
The original arm pads cracked much faster than I thought they should have, for the cost of an Aeron chair. I don't know why I waited so long to replace them, but with the price of these, you cannot go wrong. Plus, even though these are more firm, I greatly prefer them over the "leather" covered foam pads that came with the chair. I am putting quotes around "leather" because it's clearly not genuine. These new pads are not spongy foam covered with something synthetic. They are the same material all of the way through. They are still comfortable, and they seem like they will last much longer than the originals. Yes, you should probably get them!

It is a great replacement arm pads. Feels like the original pad that came with my Aeon chair. Fits perfectly and no issues with the installation. The shipping for this item was slow, it took 5 weeks to arrive to Singapore.
