I was a bit surprised to find that the product itself is made by an American company and manufactured in India, but it is well-made so I have no complaints. There was a few minor scuffs but nothing that subtracted from the overall experience. As a Dane it was simply curious that to find a proper drinking horn I have to go on a British site to buy from an American company something than an Indian manufactured. But then again the vikings did love their travels!!! I bought this as an anniversary present for the love of my life. We're both Danish and history buffs so a drinking horn seemed the perfect gift. It was received with cheer and adoration, so I couldn't be happier. The finishing of the horn is lovely, the horn is huuuuuuge (so is he so it fits in his large hands, so yay!) and the details in brass are very vikingesque. Upon purchasing the product I also received a very helpful email with a thorough guide on how to care for the horn itself as well as contact information should any problems arise. Overall very good impression of their customer service. My main problem in purchasing was that despite buying it from amazon.co.uk where the product appeared to be in the British warehouse, it could not be shipped to Denmark. This, I find quite silly. I had to ensure the help of a British friend to receive the package for me and then ship it to me which is obviously not something everyone can do. So, Norse Tradesman, please consider your Scandinavian customers who are numerous and have historical attachments to your products and open up for Scandinavian shipments - which most of amazon.co.uk does.

I received the horn which itself was lovely but the only problem was the metal tip to the horn, it came off as the resin they fix it on with has gone brittle plus there should be a metal pin through it to keep it secure which it didn't have, the horn was lovely but did have a few minor scratches to it, for the price I paid which was like £61 I would of hoped it was made better, I probably wouldn't recommend it to people, I had to glue the tip back on as it was for a birthday present the day I received it, on a whole a bit disappointing.

Large and impressive, good craftsmanship I would definitely recommend this as both an amazing ornament and beer (it should be mead I know) seems tastes so much better when drinking it from a horn! It didn't smell when it arrived and only mildly after washing but no odour once dry :)

This product was a great feature for the Viking party I attended, however after a few beers in this cup it started to develop a smell. The next day after washing it out with warm soapy water the smell persisted. The product as far as I’m going to use it now is for show as an ornament. So great for first time use but if you are able to get over the smell it has afterwards then it’s a great feature at any party.

This horn is perfect in my opinion, I absolutely love the Brass Adornment at the bottom it in my opinion helps it feel more comfortable in your hand, it doesn't give the drink within it a bad taste and is quite comfortable to drink out of. Unfortunately my cat decided to knock it off a set of Drawers and I was expecting it to be broken but there wasn't even a scratch on the Horn or the Stand so it definitely is durable enough to withstand damage to a certain extent which is perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Great drinking horn and amazing customer service. The original Jarl version was sent without the bottom brass adornment bit. After an email the guys rapidly sent me a replacement which is perfect. Thank you!

This horn is a disappontment to the vikings. It feels & looks like cheap plastic or resin, the craftsmanship was so bad, there were scratches, scrapes, holes & glue everywhere. It looked like the job had been done by a blind viking who himself had a few too many drinks. Perhaps Floki the trickster was having a joke with us all. I ordered an xl 700ml version, the one I got nearly held 390ml. Let me warn you all, you will most likely not receive what you want & pay for. I bought this item 2 times, send it back 2 times. Quality bad, volume bad, measurements of drink volume are completely off no matter what size you buy. This company has the most reviews, but don't be fooled, they are certainly not the best company to buy from here on Amazon.

The 1st horn was totally useless. It was dropping from the bottom. The seller was kind and fast regarding the replacement. I bought 2 more horns. One is straight enought, the second one is not, so you cannot leave it on his stand with Met inside. The seller accurately inform that those imperfections can happen due to the natural shape of the horns and its open to a fast replacement if you can prove those problems. (I sent a mobile video ) Overall, as glass, is quite uncomfortable. Is a cool glass to have if you are a Met drinker as I am. A must have if you like vikings and ancient history.

Es para un regalo y tienen varios fallos que decepcionan. El soporte me llegó roto, además con el cuerno totalmente lleno no se puede sacar sin derramarse y lo que es peor el soporte no aguanta el peso del cuerno lleno.

This product is absolutely beautiful. The makers really put effort and craftsmanship into each piece. I bought this as a surprise for my fiance. He LOVED it, and every single time he uses it, he raves about the high quality and aesthetic beauty of the horn. It fits nicely in the hand, has a delightful texture, and it doesn't affect the taste of whatever you drink from it (I was worried it might; it doesn't! It's perfect!). I'll admit, I was also a little afraid that the metallic ornamentation would look cheesy and resinous in person, but it actually looks pretty darn great! Bonus: it came with an awesome, branded burlap sack as a carrier/gift bag. My fiance immediately repurposed it for holding ammo and gun-related accessories (he is a champion competitive marksman). This was honestly a gift that kept on giving. I'd give it 6 stars, if i could. Thank you, Norse Tradesman! Outstanding work!!
