This wall plate worked just like it was supposed to. Installation was quick and easy, even doing it myself. The fit was good, the port snapped in securely, and the finished look is clean. No issues at all—great option for a simple DIY job.

Others have written that this is very thin plastic. I found that, at least the one I received, was the same thickness as a standard outlet or switch plate. The ethernet cables clicked into either side of the receptacle quite nicely and had a firm fit. I hooked it up to my laptop and did not lose any connections like others have stated they did. Overall, this is a great product and a great value for the money spent.
