Delicious!!!
This truly is authentic...at least it tastes exactly like the shito sauce I enjoyed last September in Ghana, so I will take Mother Africa's word for it. Whether it's domestic or imported, this type of food for some reason is always loaded with sodium but if eaten in moderation, should be ok for all but the most sodium-restricted of diets. I love a couple of tablespoonfuls on my breakfast scrambled eggs. Have also used it in cooking---chili, burgers, a little on a serving of vegetables, potatoes or meat.

Not hot at all...
Product is good but bland tasting. The label spicy hot is very misleading. On a scale of 1-10, its level of hot will be at most 4. Good product, but far from what i expected. I took a look at the ingredients and the first item is tomato paste, which is not supposed to be the base. The ones i have had, had little or no tomato paste. At least have the option for very hot.

Tastes nothing like shito!
Tastes nothing like shito. Very poorly made with NO dried fish or shrimps; just blended ginger and something that tastes like tomatoes in oil. Tastes like tomato and ginger sauce that's going bad. I would definitely return my purchase if it wouldn't cost me more money.

The Shito was so perfect, exactly how I liked my shitoh.

The 'spicy' kind taste bland.
I have tried both the 'mild' and 'spicy' and I prefer the mild shito because it has more taste and flavor than the spicy shito. The spicy shito seems to be bland and tasteless. I wish they will make the 'spicy' shito as tasty as the 'mild' shito. I'll try other vendors.
