Great for the PE Exam!!
I'm going to take the PE exam this fall.I know you can find this on the FHWA website to download for free, but who wants to take the time to print out a HUGE .PDF? What a pain to print double sided (The manual itself is about 800-900 pgs.)... not to mention risk wrecking you printer, and wasting your time. This book is great. It's a bound paperback but is also 3-ring punched for a binder, if you need too. A MUST buy if you are taking the exam and don't want to waste your time.Amazon.com's price on this item is also very good. Much better than any other site...

“Must-Have” for Construction Depth Exam.
A “must-have” if you are taking the construction depth exam. I passed the exam, and I’m glad I had this book as a reference.

good traffic reference
I am a traffic engineer and bought this to use as a reference. It is the 2009 MUTCD and is paperback and bound. It also has 3 holes punched in it if you would like to put into a binder. The binding seems flimsy that I could see why a 3 ring binder might eventually needed. Amazon seemed to have the cheapest price for it anywhere.

A Must for Traffic Engineers
This is the standard by which all traffic engineers are held to when designing for their work. I work with this manual occasionally since I'm an EI in the field, and my coworkers and I have found it useful on multiple occassions when we get the rare project involving the type of work.

This book is really like a code that is for reference only
This book is really like a code that is for reference only. Not for reading, only reference if you really need it.
