KITCHEN CROP, Green, Deluxe Sprouter + Alfalfa Seeds

Sadly not quite what I thought it was as the root system does not go through to the lower level.

Completely agree with all comments about size of holes. I purchased mine to mainly sprout broccoli seeds. The first time was fairly successful as I only tried a very small batch. Then next three attempts I noticed a bad smell and at first thought this was normal and kept trying to unsuccessfully to wash it out. Finally I realised that the broccoli seeds were the perfect size to block the holes, Howe er careful you are, leading to poor drainage and rotting sprout seeds. As I want to continue I have just increased the size of all of the holes to improve drainage. Hopefully that will resolve the problem. Note to manufacturers- if you made the holes narrow slots instead of holes the seeds wouldn’t block. I know this is not ideal situation for most users.

I hesitated about purchasing this seed sprouter having read a couple of the reviews but decided go ahead. I am delighted that I did so! It is well made and following the instructions in the accompanying booklet it works beautifully. I have no hesitation in recommending the product..

This sprouter works really really well, when used as directed. Big seeds sprout, little seeds sprout, and it couldn't be easier to use!

Mine leaked down the outside of the containers. The company offered to replace it but the cost of postage meant not feasible. However, if you have this problem rather than putting the amount of water in the resovoir as suggested just use a cup full 3-4 times per day and it resolves the problem. I felt the price a little high becuse it does not work any better than cheaper versions

Absolutely delighted with this item. The main thing is to water twice a day but before each watering take the bottom tray and put it on the top. In this way the sprouts grow at the same rate. If you don't do this then the sprouts in the top tray will not be so advanced.

Tried many sprouters and this is the best by far. Great design, easy to use and clean and great water system. A must buy for all sprouters!

After trying to grow broccoli sprouts several times, after every watering seeds move into the drainage holes and perfectly block them so not all of the water can drain away causing my first batch to mold as they were constantly sat in a small amount of water. After growing my second batch the exact same problem occurred only this time Im clearing the seeds from the holes each time which is very time consuming using a pin to clear each one.The manual for this product does sate they may sometimes become blocked but everytime you water just seems to be a real pain. The main aim of this product is for the water to drain away but depending what seed you use they will block the drainage holes meaning its not quite so simple.If you can get over having to unblock the holes after every watering the product is somewhat useful, as the plants grow the seeds are less likely to move but of course you will never have 100% germination so some seeds will always move over and block the holes.
