Works Great in a 12 Year Old Haier Cube
I couldn't find the WPF30 series control that was the original in this small cube Haier fridge. The WPF27 was similar enough from the pictures I ordered it. Turns out the body is exactly the same with the narrow terminals, same length control shaft, and the shaft flat is clocked the same as the old unit so the control knob points the right way once installed. The only real difference I found is the capillary tube is longer, and the flexible plastic sleeve goes nearly full length on the WPF27 where the WPF30 I removed, has a short section of clear sleeve. When you remove the old thermostat DON'T change the bends in that tube, use the old one as a template to bend the capillary tube on the new one. Due to the extra length I put a slight "S" curve in the length of tube at the back of the fridge. Install the new unit into the plastic housing, put that in place then the plastic conduit holding the power line and capillary. Then the fun part - getting the end of the capillary to stay in the plastic retainer as you contort your hands to snap the retainer into place. It's been about a week now and works great! The temp dial is set to 3 1/2, the fridge stays about 37 to 38 degrees (I used a temp sensor from my weather station to monitor) and no more frozen drink bottles.

Works really well!
I have a Black & Decker mini fridge with a compressor that wasn't turning on. I changed out the thermostat with this item as well as the starter relay and overload protector (bought separately) and the thing started right up! It's nice and chilly now. Happy with my purchase!

Works like a champ . . .
in my Kenmore 183.92779 mini-fridge made by Haier. It saved this old mini-fridge from the scrap heap, after the old thermostat failed, making this min-fridge into a mini-freezer. And I would buy this again. Installation was generally pretty easy but routing the power wires and the sensing tube back through the plastic conduits wasn't. Make sure you take a photo of where the wires connect to your old thermostat to use a reference before you start taking the wires off of it.

Cured my old ailing Frigidaire Mini-Fridge w/Freezer!!
Just like one of the previous reviews, my old Frigidaire mini-fridge was freezing everything and constantly running. It had a thermostat just like the one posted in the user-posted pic (different numbers)...2 prong, with a defrost needle. Instead of spending $200 on a new mini-fridge, I thought I'd give this option a try.The old thermostat came out easily. The new thermostat went in just as easy. I glued the blue defrost button inside the temperature control knob. I've found a setting of 4-5 on the new thermostat is about 35 degrees. So glad I tried this option first!

Worked great for just over a year and half, now it is dead.
I had a mini fridge that I purchased 17 years ago. it worked fine until 2 years ago, the thermostat died. It would be stuck on.I purchased this thermostat to replace it, and it made the fridge work perfectly. All was fine until last week, the fridge was at room temp after a weekend and everything inside was spoiled.I cleaned the fridge, including any moisture, and then turned the thermostat down to off and on, and heard the compressor kick in. The fridge got to the set temp, and the thermostat cut off the compressor. Except once that happened, the thermostat never turned the compressor back on when the temp went back up.I then sat and watched as I turned the knob back to off, and the turned it back to mid setting. Compressor turned on, and then it got to set temp, it turned off, and then never came back on again.I removed the thermostat from the interior wall, and it is HANGING upside down in the middle of the fridge and it seems to work fine now, cycling on and off. I re-installed it, and again, it stopped kicking back on after hitting the cold temp.I know I have had the thermostat for over a year (purchased dec 2022), but considering that the original fridge thermostat worked for 15 years before it broke, I was hoping that this one would last more than 21 months.
