Why did you pick this product vs others?: My dog gets bad anxiety during storms and fireworks. This has been the only cage that she can't break out of. It wasn't difficult to setup, I did it by myself in about 10 min. I get lots of compliments on the look of it and the sturdiness of it. The wheels lock in place so it doesn't shift around when she adjusts herself in it but when I need to take the cage with us it's lightweight enough to lift into the back of the truck. I like that it's big enough for my XL dog to move around but narrow enough to fit through a door without having to take it apart. Would recommend to all dog owners, it's a great investment for your pet.

I bought this because the exuberant dog that I was fostering was able to bend a wire crate. This is very sturdy, easy to move around, and easy to clean. My current foster likes it so much that he sleeps in it with the door open even when he has many other options. Throw a few washable blankets/pillows in there and it is cozy. I put it together by myself, although it would have been easier with two people. One person just has to get creative and brace the parts to hold straight during assembly. The latch can loosen over time and needs to be tightened once in a while, but that just takes 5 seconds with a phillips head screwdriver. It isn’t portable in that it won’t easily fold down, but the casters make it easy to move around. The slide-in trays are easy to remove and clean. I would buy this again.

Ok so we have a 90# American Bully !! She had blown her last cage apart and I’m not even joking about that ! We ordered this cage had it together within 5 min ! And she still has not gotten out of it ! We are very happy with it and I no longer have to worry she will hurt herself while she’s escaping !! It did have a few dents in it but not bad enough to even worry about ! So we have had this kennel for a few months so I wanted to update everyone on it !! My BULLY is 100# now and she is still contained she has NOT been able to get ahold of the bars to bend or to get her head against it to push it apart like she did all her other cages !!! I have peace of mind now when I leave because I know she is safe inside. She got hurt previously getting out of the cheap kennels we purchased prior !!! We LOVE a this kennel !! We are purchasing another one for my other baby girl who just turned a year and is already 95# !!! Thank you so much !!! Great product !!!

We really like this kennel overall. We tried another cheaper “indestructible” kennel and the price difference showed. It was much weaker metal and our dog bent the metal holding the one latch and escaped in a very short time. This one has very strong and heavy duty metal. It is huge though, and like a big prison cell in our room. The reason I only give it 4 stars is for two reasons- 1) It is still not inescapable. Our escape artist 10 month old king shepherd puppy was able to work the latches loose/open with time. She escaped through the smaller feeding door during the night when we had a dog sitter watching her and she ate her way through our bedroom door to make it to where he was sleeping. 2) There is a small gap between the two trays that go under the bottom bars. They are supposed to catch it if the dog has an accident, but ours had a pee accident in it one time and some of it got on the carpet still. So it is probably as good as you’ll find, but still not perfect.

this crate is PERFECT. my 18lb shiba inu is the best escape artist ever. he has completely destroyed the standard bars in 5 different kennels. one time he managed to move the bars and get his head and neck through it and when i got home he was choking because he wasn’t able to free himself. i was scared to kennel him from that point on but he needs to be kenneled at certain times so i got this. yes he’s so small but you’d be surprised how much damage he can cause, it’s insane. so far so good in this, he hasn’t even tried to mess with the bars and even if he does, they aren’t going anywhere. it’s so huge that him and my 35lb aussie fit in there together and still have a good amount of room in it. my 80lb GSD can also fit in here by himself and can’t get the bars to budge, it’s a little tight fitting for him but it’s sturdy enough for him and he’s also destroyed quite a few cages. i haven’t ever spent this much on a crate and i was a little skeptical especially with some of the conflicting reviews but i am SUPER pleased with this purchase. i have so much peace of mind now knowing my dog will be safe when he needs to be kenneled. i am also the worst person ever when it comes to having to put things together but this literally took me maybe 6/7 minutes to install, it was super easy. 10/10 recommend!

I have a 45 lb bulldog escape artist who could not be contained in a standard collapsible kennel even when it was reinforced with zip ties. After hours of online shopping I went with this kennel as it seemed like a good solution that is substantially cheaper than the other heavy duty crates on the market. I was a little concerned about the quality after reading reviews, but I haven’t had any issues. After assembly I did notice that there is a bar underneath at the back that is slightly bent, but it is not visible from the front and has not affected the functionality. It took some time to put together, but was not too difficult. I like that the bottom of the kennel is secure and escape-proof, but I was worried it wouldn’t be comfortable on her feet when standing. I think it would be fine bare, but I cut some ½ inch gym mats to fit very snugly in the bottom of the kennel to give her some padding on the bottom that she can’t remove or chew on.

We upgraded from our regular wire crate when our new rescue had a traumatic escape while we were working through crate training. This crate has bars that have no “give” to them (at least not for a 40lb pit bull), and saw that during our first “outing,” after a few minutes of trying to push, pull, and paw for an escape route, she gave up and settled in (we recorded on a phone while we were in the yard). We’ve had this for a couple months now and it’s her cozy nook when we’re home and a gives us solid peace of mind if ever we have to leave. I originally tried another brand with barred construction that had hinges connecting the side panels to the bottom. They made the crate more easily “collapsible” and potentially transportable, but 1) the weight and bulkiness doesn’t make it likely it will be moved around and 2) I wanted the option to switch the door swing by flipping the front panel, but that couldn’t happen with hinges on one end. This version allows the flip, and the locks work both ways because they’re rather tight and hold in either direction. You will need a crate pad or bed since the base is barred as well, or the included tray can fit in crate (designed to slide in beneath floor of crate).

We have had this Dog Kennel for over a year now and are quite happy about the purchase. It took two of us to put it together. One person holding the sides while the other assembled just to make it easier. The dog has not broken any pieces and it is sturdy. She broke or chewed through all other types of kennels. We use it for a mixed breed medium-sized anxious dog but would be plenty big for our Lab or Brittany. We love that it can be rolled to another area, but you would not have to attach those if you don't want to roll the crate.

My husky absolutely demolished his wire crate and learned how to escape. I had been using carabeener clips to hold it together. This crate did not disappoint. The only issue with it is that the bars are still far enough apart that he can eat things through it and they're far apart on the bottom that he's uncomfortable to walk into the crate (because I can't give him any type of pillow or liner).

This Crate is absolutely Amazing. My dog has been able to escape her crate even though we secured it in everyway possible. She has not been able to escape this one, it's very sturdy, I love the fact that the pan is not accessible to her, she can't get to it, she's destroyed the pan from her previous crate. I highly recommend this product. This crate was unbelievably affordable and worth every penny.

We have a new dog (7 month old shepherd mix) who was breaking out of both wire and plastic kennels. The issue wasn't the kennel it was separation anxiety, but she is destructive when left out alone. We probably could have gotten the Medium size but erred on the Large size and despite it being massive it was very easy to assemble and the dog was quite intrigued by it. She finds it very spacious and comfortable. The large bars mean she can see everything around her which calms her. She still drools when we are gone but she hasn't really tried to escape. There are a few scratches on the door from test biting but she gave up quickly.

Loved this item. Easy to build. Heavy duty. Very easy for clean ups.
