A: No, the fan air intake and outflow vents are open and exposed to the elements, so would not use in rainy weather.

**Q: How long is lanyard?**
A: Long...fan before it's tightened goes down to my stomach. I am 5'4.

**Q: how much does it weigh**
A: 6-7 ounces and it does not weigh on your neck. Easy to wear and helps with the heat to coll you off.
