I’m glad I decided to take my time and adjust it. This works very differently than anything you’ve used before. In fact, it’s possible the curve of your dashboard makes it impractical. I have a flat dash/vent area that helps prop the phone.1. Find an angle the base works well in. Mine needed extra support from the dash on the bottom of the phone.2. Firmly adjust the tension spool in the back. It’s plastic, so don’t get too crazy.3. BE GENTLE. imagine your sitting and picking up your phone from a cloud. If you’re used to using tension or being rough to get your phone on the stand, it’s time to adjust the way you perform.4. Lift up and slide down your phone when using the base. DO NOT yank it from the base guys....If you can do these things, your base could last forever.
