This knife is absolutely amazing
I literally cannot believe how good this knife is. I expected it to just be kinda decent; because of the lame brand name and the price, but it is absolutely incredible. The weight on it is perfect, and it is insanely well made. The handle fits my hand perfectly. The belt clip is super thorough, tight, and easy to use. The lock is awesome, does its job perfectly. The knife came fairly sharp, actually, which was very surprising. I typically like my knives sharper so I ended up sharpening it more, but just rolling with how it came would have been fine. The quality is insane. No cheap plastic or lame steel on this. No sir. The handle is made of some sort of kydex/rubber mixture and the grip is awesome. The metal itself has absolutely no blemishes and appears to be very high-grade. The sheath itself and the clip are awesome as well, the clip is a thick, sturdy plastic and the sheath is very firm kydex. As for portability, it’s not the easiest to carry around without a big sturdy belt, but it’s still amazing. What else is incredible is despite the weight it actually feels very good slipped in your pocket (the handle does stick out btw) but otherwise it is amazing. Packaging was simple and high-quality. Overall give this knife a 10/10. Would definitely buy this again or more from this brand.

Good quality for price
This is a very nice knife. While some of Oerla's designs seem less than useful to my purposes, this knife is all about practicality. First look is deceiving--it does have a 'point' and it pierces very well. I believe wharnecliff knives, which this is a modernized version, have proven to penetrate excellently, plus, as per design, this knife is an excellent 'chopper'. Sure the metal could be better, but frankly I think much of the metal quality discussion is a bit over the top, even nerdy, and not so meaningful in daily use unless you are in combat or other life threatening situations where you must be assurred the metal will 'hold'. If you are opening boxes or cutting paper, get a box cutter and replace blades at will. The sheath is excellent and retains the knife perfectly. The knife is a compact chopper that can pierce when you need to. Blade edge symmetry is perfect. The only shortcoming of this knife for me is that the handle is a bit short for my larger than average hands; for most it should be fine. Thanks to Oerla for its vision....m

Great overall budget knife and sheath package, with one criticism
For the price, I'm very happy with this knife. It will serve it's purpose well. I like a small tanto fixed blade like this that I can use as a chisel or small pry bar if needed, without worrying about damaging the knife. It came sharp enough. The overall package is pretty nice. I'm surprised with the quality of the sheath too, that can be adjusted to your specific belt width. The only reason it's getting 4 stars instead of 5 is the handle. If this is real G10, it's the smoothest G10 handle I've ever held in my hand. The handle has a nice chunky carve, but it's just too smooth. I prefer something with a bit more texture, to prevent my hand slipping. I might try roughing it up with some sand paper, or wrapping it it in something for a more secure grip. I also wish the grip was flush with the metal tang. ...but overall, highly recommended. It would be cool if they offered it with different colored handle options too, just with a bit more texture to the handle.

Extremely pleased
The knife beat my espectation. It was sharp out on the box, the thickness of the blade a handle give it a good weight and the sheath has good retention. Overall quality and finish is good. Not a fancy knife but reasy to work

Good buy 👍
Very good sturdy well made knife. Very Ergonomic. Handle feels really good doesn't feel like the handle will come apart like some cheaper Walmart dollar tree ones. Definitely one of the heavier knives out there but it's steel so you have to expect some weight to it. Not bad weight... the kind that let's you know it's going to last. Nice shape too. The back of the blade is not sharp enough to strike a ferro rod with the top straight part but the serrated looking part under the straight part will. I personally don't like the back of the blade to feel like it can cut because that's where my thumb goes sometimes so that's another pro for me. Aside from the weight really being preference there isn't any cons that I can think of. The plastic sheath is really good and adjustable for different sized belts. That feature is a rare one to find on any sheath. Lastly the price. If you're not sure about getting it, the 28$ price is a definite its worth trying it out price. Overall i give it a 10/10

For the price, whoa!
For the price, whoa! I’m quite shocked and surprised that it is as nice as I hoped it would be even at that price point. I am very impressed and even with a little more fine sharpening this blade is very very nice.
