This beaded rope has a little bit weight to it, unlike the PVC ones. It is really comfortable to use and it is GREAT FOR BEGINNERS to learn the basic. The lightweight ones require more attention, turning of the wrists, etc... I have both types, this bead rope and PVC rope. First, I use the beaded rope to figure out the move, the setup of certain tricks then I jump into it with the PVC rope.

These broke from using them to jump rope....hmmm for what it was made to do! Why would anyone use beads that would break so easily?! Don’t buy this unless you like acquiring junk plastic around the house.

I was looking for a jump rope that we could use in a group setting and this is the perfect length. It's great for the kids to be able to jump in and out and for more than one to jump at a time.
