However they have changed the design of the connectors making it impossible to do so. I just received one, which had a broken connector right out of the box. I have purchased 6 of these over the years and they were wonderful because I could configure it to suit my needs. And if a connector was broken by a very determined dog, I usually had extra connectors on hand from having replaced the gates previously. This can no longer be done. I’m very unhappy with this change. Unfortunately no one else makes a gate large enough.
