French Connection Women's Richie Short-Sleeve Dress

It's super cute but extremely snug and the fabric is not forgiving. I would size up if you want to a.) breathe comfortably, b.) don't love wearing industrial strength shapewear, or c.) are absolutely confident you will never gain a pound. Other than that, it's a great dress when it fits properly. I can't wait to wear it again after I go back down to the size I was when I bought it (which was basically 3 pounds less than what I am now).

After reading several reviews, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this dress. The material is great, but I don't care for the fit. There are pockets in the dress that make it billow out. You do not see this on the model. If you stands still, and smooth out the seams (the pockets are hidden within), then the dress looks like it does on the model. I love the way it looks with the pockets smoothed down, so I took it to my seamstress to have the pockets removed.

A beautiful dress, good quality. This dress is a little short than I expect.

Yikes, wayyyy too small. I usually wear a 4 or a 6; I bought the 6 and probably need a 10. On top of that, the cotton fabric means instant wrinkles. This one is going back.

Very sexy and classy. Perfect for day or evening wear.
