Review: Works really well, until it doesn’t… UPDATE: but great customer service! - Update 8/2024: I wrote to the company letting them know about the broken faucet. They had me open it up, inspect it, and check to see if some wires had gotten loose. None of that worked, though I did see that moisture had definitely gotten into the casing that houses the motor (note: but not the battery pack), so I could see how over time this would break down. After going back and forth, the company agreed to ship a replacement faucet from their overseas warehouse free of charge to us. We received it a couple weeks later and now we have a working faucet again! My 3 year old is thrilled. Original review (2 stars): We purchased this one year ago and it quickly became one of my daughter’s favorite toys. I recommended this to at least half a dozen friends. It worked well up until a month ago, when we left on a trip (made sure it was stored dry) and when we came back today, it will not work, even after 4 different sets of batteries. Unfortunate since we were really looking forward to using it during this heat wave.
Review: Great for helping developmentally delayed child access important skills - I bought this sink for my daughter's 3rd birthday, partially because she loves to play with anything that involves water and partially because I wanted to provide a more accessible way for her to learn self-help skills like washing her hands. My daughter has a rare chromosome disorder that causes low muscle tone, developmental delay (especially in motor skills), and autism. As a result, it is difficult for her to use step stools, climb, etc., which makes our regular sinks impractical. By placing this sink on a table at her level, she can walk right up to it safely. Before, we had tried using a water cooler over a basin, but the knob/switch on the water cooler was difficult for her to turn on and off. In contrast, this faucet is very easy for her to turn on and off. This gives her independence--something we can't take for granted. She was so excited about this sink that she learned the skill of washing her hands very quickly. She now chooses to do it on her own accord before meal times! Autistic children often have trouble learning to "pretend play," and this is something that doesn't come easily to my daughter. With this sink, she immediately loved pretending to wash the dishes. (She also brings random toys to the sink for washing, too.) She can spend upward of 30 minutes playing with this sink, which is impressive for sustaining her attention. After about 2 months of usage, unfortunately the faucet stopped working. We contacted customer service, and they were really great about instructing us on how to try to fix the faucet and then replaced our faucet/sink for free when it couldn't be fixed. I am hoping we don't have a similar issue this time because, as you can see, this is more than a toy for my daughter, and I'm really grateful that such a product exists!

**Q: Bought this a month ago and the motor has busted. Thought it was the batteries but still doesn’t work. Do you sell replacement faucets?**
A: Same thing happened to me. It worked for a few months and then the motor for the faucet died. I tried replacing the battery and that did not work. I took apart the faucet box and made sure all the wiring was connected. It still didn’t work. Decided to buy a different brand to replace it.

**Q: How do i contact cute stone? we got ours as a gift just yesterday and today the faucet won’t turn on. we changed batteries and still not working.**
A: We just recieved the faucet replacement, put the batteries in...and it doesn't work. Very frustrating. I give you the money to get a product that doesn't work instantly.

**Q: Where can I buy replacement faucet?**
A: We had to also replace the faucet; we contacted the manufacturer and they replaced the whole sink because we had only had it about a month. I didn't see where there was a way or the ability to just replace the faucet. I would contact the manufacturer, they were extremely helpful and very understanding. We received great customer service.

**Q: We dont plan to use water with this sink, it is going to be for a church nursery so why would we need to remove the faucet?**
A: Probably something about the faucet sitting in water too long and causing it to break?  Just don't put batteries in it if you don't plan to use the faucet.  You are lucky you don't want to use the faucet as that is the part that consistently breaks within a week.

### ⭐ Extremely Poor Design – Not Suitable for Pool

I purchased this item specifically for use in and around my pool, and it failed far sooner than it should have. The product is advertised as a water toy, yet the battery compartment is very poorly designed. The battery cover does not sit flush against the housing, and the seal is inadequate. As a result, water easily gets into the battery compartment during normal use. After opening the unit, I found significant rust and corrosion on the battery contacts and springs, which clearly indicates water intrusion. Once water got inside, the toy stopped functioning properly and was essentially ruined. For a product intended to be used around water, there is no excuse for such poor waterproofing. A properly designed pool toy should have a secure, watertight battery compartment that prevents this exact problem. I am very disappointed with the quality and durability of this item. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this product and looking for a better-made alternative. It simply does not hold up to the environment it was designed for.
