I have two cats one goes absolutely Bonkers for these salmon flakes whereas the other one does not. With that said the one that eats a salmon flakes will only eat one kind of cat food and one kind of cat food only and it is shrimp and fish mixed together in one can made by fancy face Kathmandu salmon flakes are the only other food item this cat eats he won't even eat table food so if you have a finicky cat you may want to give him some of these salmon flakes start off with a little just a little don't upset their belly cuz they will throw up and then move up to whatever you feel as though you want to give him. My cats freak for these flakes. They know when I put the tea kettle on for bedtime tea, it's time for fish flakes. God forbid I run out - the big bag is the way to go.

Moist fish flakes. Yum? These are just fish flakes, nothing else added. Has a slightly smokey aroma. My cats aren't real big on treats but I thought they might like something like this on occasion. They aren't crazy about these, but I can see where they would make for a healthy treat, or a healthy training treat. The flakes are quite large and super thin and light weight. I almost prefer a more crumbly version, but I can do that myself. So you can try crumbling them if you want to use them over food, or keep them large depending on your cats preference. I have doled out a few to my dogs on occasional as well.Seems like a perfectly fine product, so far.EDIT: 10 months later (bag is still fresh!) I don't know why the change of heart, but my 18 year old kitty has taken a sudden interest in this- like he is all crazy for it. I keep the bag at my desk, and he comes up and looks for snacks. I offer him different options and it is this that he is going nuts for. The flakes are so light weight, that I can give him a sizeable handful.

My cats go crazy for these treats! Super fishy and lightweight. Perfect to top off healthy food or as a treat on their own.
