MEKKAPRO Outdoor Glass Hummingbird Feeder, Red, 5 Feeding Stations 10 oz

I bought this feeder to keep the bees 🐝 out and it's working perfectly fine. I don't mind feeding the honey bees,but they are chasing off my humming birds from their sugar water and draining my little feeders dry. The way that it works is that the feeding port is too long of a distance for the bees to reach but the hummers have very long tongues that easily can reach the sugar water. The design of these feeders is so cute and charming they add a lot to my front area with their retro look. I really like this feeder and I highly recommend it to you if you are having bees issues or ants and the quality is very nice too. The glass is sturdy and the plastic parts are well made and sturdy as well The parts screwed together easily so the threads are well made . They did put some good work and effort into these feeders ,I am so glad to have found it and ordered it, the price is decent as well, so we ordered two feeders for our front porch area. I hope that you will order one or two for your area too.

I received these yesterday and really like the size and the fact that they are glass is a bonus! I feel they will be easier to keep clean and the size it perfect. I always end up having to throw away a lot of the nectar because it goes cloudy and I don't want to harm the birds so after a couple of days, I get rid of it. This feeder doesn't hold a lot so I can fill it more often and there isn't as much waste. They are a cute design and they come with 2 extra flowers incase they get damaged or lost. So far the birds seem to love it. I haven't used any with the umbrella top so this is something new. Hopefully it will keep ants out. The feeding holes are small so hopefully that will help too. I will update if anything changes but so far so good!!

I was new to Hummingbird Feeders until I purchased these 2, purchased as a pair. WOW! The quality and size(20oz) are incredible. The feeders are actually made of a durable glass, which not only adds sophistication but, also doesn’t allow the nectar to become “cloudy”, as my brother’s plastic one does. The 5 perch version is like having a Hummingbird Party on my patio...it only took 2 days and, ever since, I have more hummingbirds than the eye can see. The larger 20oz was a judgment call on my part but, after studying hummingbird feeders, at least I learned before hand, that the larger size is more convenient and requires less fills. I clean the feeders very well once/week - whether there is nectar in it or not. You must keep the nectar fresh to keep the birds attention. I love seeing the clear nectar as the sunshine gazes upon them. I’ve found that in Alabama, at least at this Spring season, that the hummingbirds are a little more active in the earlier hours of the morning and about sunset time...Other folks tell me that the birds’ feeding habits will increase over the Summer and early Fall months. The craftsmanship and quality cannot be better, both a sturdy glass feeder container and a lighter weight but, very durable plastic perch...Some folks have complained here about their cords breaking early but, as they are made of thin stainless steel, I have to think that the others are incorrectly mounting their feeders? Mine is FULL of nectar, no spills, even blows - sometimes violently - with the wind and even thru tornados, all without a scratch. In fairness, I did use a screw as opposed to a tac or nail to mount mine, just better safe than sorry. I give this item ALL FIVE(5) STARS based on the ease of use right out of the box, very reasonably priced for such a high quality look and feel and, the birds seem to LOVE IT. Get a pair of these, if possible...because your area will be overwhelmed by hummingbirds, fighting for their turn at the nectar...an older Enthusiast gave me that info - so, then go ahead and buy a matching pair - to hang and really enjoy the little motorized winged birds. But, most of all, hang it as close to where you’ll be admiring them, as feasible...then, you’ll really get some very good close ups of the birds...I find them mesmerizing to watch and am fascinated by all the action...Enjoy these hummingbird feeders for years to come, judging from the look, quality and sturdiness of how well they are manufactured...Couldn’t be happier with this purchase and from this company. Again, fill it,, hang it and sit back and be amazed!! THESE HUMMINGBIRD FEEDERS ARE VERY WELL MADE!

The gasket should be silicone in place,or it tends to leak. The birds prefer that feeder.

My hummingbirds absolutely love these feeders. I have a couple of other feeders, and these are their favorites.

First of all, let me start by saying I love this feeder...I'm fairly new to feeding hummingbirds and started with one of these ....it wasn't long before I learned that these little birds are fiesty & and very territorial, so I bought two more of the same. They are very easy to clean and fill, the plastic parts are sturdy. Overall a quality product, that I feel is worth the price, Of course, no matter how well made something is, every so often something goes wrong. That happened to me 6 days ago. While refilling the feeder the metal hanging wire pulled out of the clamp and the feeder fell. The glass tube was undamaged, but the plastic feeding basin was chipped. I e-mailed the company, explained the problem and asked if they could send me a replacement plastic top & bottom and offering to return the broken parts. This was Sunday afternoon, to be honest I wasn't expecting to hear from them until Monday or Tuesday, and within 3 hours the company responded with a very personalized e-mail addressing my problem, apologizing that it had happened, and asked if I could send a picture of the damage so they could share with the production department. (granted, it may have just been to verify I was telling the truth...but it was a nice way to do it). I sent the picture, got another quick response from Candice, and they sent a new feeder that arrived Thursday. Pretty impressed that the whole issue was completely resolved in 4 days with very little effort on my part! HIghly recommend both the product and the seller, MAU Brands

Perfect! They fit my standard hummingbird feeder and they look great. Hummers don't seem to mind them at all. Very happy with these things.

I liked the quality of the red plastic base & the weight of the glass. It was superbly packaged, each piece was individually bubble wrapped & taped. Shipping & delivery was earlier than expected. I gave 4 stars, because there were no instructions or diagram of how to put it together. This might help the next buyer... There are 4 parts to each feeder: (1. Ant guard cap with coated wire hanger attached 2. Glass bottle with easy to fill opening 3. Red perch base with 5 ports & attached yellow flowers 4. Clear nectar tray). The clear tray does not "snap" onto the red perch base. Screw the bottle into both pieces to hold it together. (The filled bottle will form a suction to the nectar tray, if it is screwed in too tightly; this will not allow the nectar to flow freely). So, you have to tip it sideways or untighten the glass container a little to release the air bubble. The hummingbirds like the perch, it is a simple, classic design. They are easy to clean, easy to fill & no leaks. There were replacement (yellow) flowers included, a surprising bonus. You can't beat the price for what you get & I would order them again, now that I know how they work. Updated 10/3/23: Although I initially gave this item 4 stars I changed it to 3. My feeders are within easy reach, so I can unscrew the bottles daily to allow them to fill properly. This is a design issue; I still like the feeders, just be aware that they require a little more attention than others.

I bought this as a gift. It's a nice feeder. I like that it had the built in ant moat on the top. It holds a good amount of syrup and the hummingbirds have really been enjoying it. It's the first time I've seen a hummingbird perch to feed! The old feeder did not have the perches by the flowers. Pretty neat to watch! I do recommend!

Tengo muchos colibríes, evito le de el sol y lo lavo cada tercer día con agua con azuecar refinada según la recomendación de biólogos. Excelente producto al ser de cristal, cuidas más la salud de los colibríes! El asa para colgar es firme y de excelente calidad, larga❤️ Me encantó este producto.

Nicely constructed, easy to clean, I like the clear bottom as many times I come around the corner and the hummingbird is feeding and as it's above my head so I can watch it supping up the nectar. Very good value for my money, both feeders come with a couple of extra flower ports and a small brush to clean the ports as well as a strong wire attached to the top, they don't leak in the wind and the wasps leave them alone, I am impressed.

This is the best hummingbird feeder that exists. They are sturdy and durable and all parts can go in the dishwasher. I buy double the amount that I need so that one set can go in the dishwasher and the other set can go out for the birds immediately. Perfect for busy people and I love that I can trust that they are being fully sterilized every wash with the hot dishwasher water. We are coming to the end of the second full summer with these and still going strong. These are the only hummingbird feeders I would ever buy again, 100% recommend.
