Bought these for a Christmas gift last year (teenager) I have waited to review to see how well they would hold up. They have exceeded my expectations. They charge well and keep a charge. Great value for the money. Good quality. My son has used this quite often. Still very bright and durable. He has used it hunting, fishing, even during a power outage.

I love the convenience of a rechargeable headlamp. I use them for home projects, car projects, walking dog at night. This one works just fine, throws a good amount of light and has adjustable tilt to aim where I need it. Battery life seems fine but I haven't run it for hours at a time nor have I ridden a bicycle using it to see if it's good enough for distance night riding but I do think it would suffice for night trails.

I've purchased several headlamps, and this is the best I've found. I am elderly and when I walk after dark the sidewalk can be a very dangerous place. After a broken bone in my foot, I have become very careful. The light level can be adjusted. Charging the unit overnight it is ready for use again the next day. The charge lasts me for at least a week - that would depend on how far you are traveling. I like that my hands are free and the light is focused and bright. I recently went to a concert at an outdoor venue and was walking out afterward using my cane over an area that had various dangers for unsteady walkers - I passed a woman who was using her iPhone to light the way. She had her cane in one hand, and the phone in the other. The light wasn't nearly as bright as this one, and she was having to move at a snail's pace. She was jealous of my headlamp, because holding things in your hands makes you less able to react properly if you stumble. It's dangerous when you are old like me.

These light are well made (and very functional) except for the following: (1) Over a period of time, the “USB Micro” charging ports become deformed. This means that when one plugs the “USB Micro” cord into the light to charge it, the cord does not make proper contact with the light’s internal electrical connections. As a result no charging takes place. I think this problem could be corrected by having the lights use an “USB C” charging port. The uniform symmetrical design of the “USB C” port would eliminate the deformity that results from one having to insert/extract a “USB Micro” connector every time the head lamp needs recharging. (2) These lights give no “warning” when they are about to reach the end of their rechargeable battery life. The brightness of the light might be reduced by a few lumens, but that is really not very noticeable to the user. One second a person is walking on a trail at night (e.g.), and the next second the person is standing in complete darkness. If you plan on using one of these head lamps, always be sure to carry a backup light with you. In my area of Alaska, it is no joke to be suddenly left stranded in the dark where one can lose their balance, trip over some object, step into a depression, or walk into a tree branch they could no longer see.

I really love this lamp. I had purchased two headlamps for outdoor use but I noticed the mainly useful option is the single light. The LEDs are not bright outdoors as the light is not focused. This lamp by the Energizer has two light paths but the one on the right is the main one and very bright. Sometimes the lamps feels a little warm. The band is quite comfortable and holds in place on the head. I use the lamp daily mainly to pick up cat litter and wash litter boxes in the yard so when it is dark the lamp is necessary. I have just charged it once and it seems still holding up its brightness unlike my other headlamps made in China (one already has a non functional bright bulb). The lamp also looks like it is well built. I think this is a good lamp. But I need a little getting use to the controls in front.

Figured it was time to upgrade my headlamp tool to one with a lithium battery since I was still using an AAA battery headlamp that was over 10 years old, also an Energizer. It was rather annoying having to swap out batteries and remember to charge batteries or having to forgo using it because there were no batteries, along with dealing with a dimmer light as the voltage gradually dropped, so it was just time. I immediately charged this lamp, and immediately tried it out while crawling under my SUV to Fluid Film for about 1 hr. Could clearly see everything and everywhere I sprayed- and there was no light dimming at all, as you would get with AAA batteries. The lamp and band are high quality (though the band is not as good as my old energizer band), but it's still ok. There is no need to go with your favorite tool brand headlamp- this one is just fine, is compact and bright, and is still high quality for the price.

Battery life is nice and long lasting after one charge. Nice and bright.

Perfect gift for kids and adults that need hands free ..definitely bright , an comfortable to ware, I love the idea , of its rechargeable and no battery needed.. great if you’re walking around at night . Taking the dog outside. Definitely buy again…

Great headlamp, very bright and the strap is pretty comfortable. Easy to replace the batteries.

DISSAPOINTMENT.. THIS PRODUCT IS A WASTE OF TIME, WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN

This is my favourite headlamp so far. I love that it is rechargeable, very bright, and can be focused and dimmed as needed. It does last less long than a battery powered headlamp, and tends to die suddenly without much notice, so beware of relying on it, say on a night hike. For that reason I own two, for when I need a backup light. when the first one dies. They would not be suitable for a multi-day trip away from a usb power supply. Each recharge would give maybe 2-3 hrs constant use. I like them so much I have bought them for presents for my family. I love also that I’m not generating waste batteries - better for the environment. I use them ~daily around the house doing jobs in low light, and as a bike light as the strong beam gives good illumination for at least ~15m, enough to ride at speed.
