COCONUT & HIBISCUS KIDS CURLING BUTTER CREAM

I just switched to this cream after using not your mother’s brand curl cream for the last 6ish months which I think left my toddler’s curls frizzy and undefined. What a difference this one makes! From the very first use, his curls transformed into absolute perfection – bouncy, shiny, well-defined ringlets that stay soft and frizz-free all day, even with all his running around and playing. The cream is lightweight and non-greasy, absorbs quickly, and has a yummy coconu smell! I love that it’s made with natural ingredients, no harsh chemicals, and it’s super gentle on his hair and scalp. A little goes a long way, so I know the jar will last forever. Styling his hair is now quick and easy, and his curls look adorable and healthy. This has QUICKLY become our holy grail product – highly recommend for any parent dealing with curly toddler hair!

I absolutely love this curl cream! It is thick and moisturizing and the smell is amazing! It is not greasy and you only need to use a little bit in the hair. I spray some water on my son’s hair first so it’s damp and then rub some of the cream through. The curls stay tight and in tact, definitely a great value for the cost. I still have over half of the jar left after several weeks and I use this daily.

I purchased 3 coconut oil type products for my curly hair. Tried this one thinking if it's for kids, it might be simpler and "healther"(?). Not sure about you, but I'm sort of "over" the whole layering of multiple expensive hair products (with too many long-winded unrecognizable ingredients). Tossed them ALL and am searching for a product that controls frizz, separates the curls a bit and feels SOFT! This product does check all those important boxes -> 4.5 stars. It came shrink wrapped - maybe less likely to be tampered with. It smells pleasantly like coconut (some of the coconut products have no smell and I realize that might be due to processing). Coconut and Hibiscus Kids Curling Cream by Shea Moisture works great and feels great in my hair. The two things I'll mention though... First, the jar is only about 3/4 full; that does make me wonder. Second, there is an entire paragraph of ingredients -- although many of them are recognizably healthy oils like shea butter, coconut fruit juice, slippery elm bark oil, avocado oil, aloe. But there's other ingredients - the first few ingredients listed are: water, glycerin (vegetable), cetearyl alcohol, shea butter, cetrimonium choride, polysorbate 60.... Unsure if I'll stick with this choice or not - I might keep looking.

This is a good products I brought this for my neice she is 1 and half and it work it magic her hair have is full of cure u just brush and go or put on head band or her bow am telling u we love this problem and on my way to purchase more 😘

I have been using this product for a couple weeks now and I like how it leaves my baby hair, his curls las longer but only if his hair dry. If he goes to sleep after I wash his hair and use the cream they don’t last😅. But other wise I love it

As someone who loves experimenting with different curl creams, I had high expectations for the SheaMoisture Curling Styling Cream for Curl Definition (Coconut & Hibiscus). The brand has a loyal following, and I’ve seen rave reviews for this product, so I was excited to try it out for my daughter's natural curls. After a few weeks of use, here’s my honest review. Pros: Moisture & Hydration: One of the biggest positives for us is the moisturizing effect this cream has. Her curls can sometimes feel dry, but after using this, her hair feels softer and more hydrated. The Coconut Oil and Hibiscus Extract do a great job of locking in moisture, which is always a win when you have curly hair that tends to dry out easily. Scent: The fragrance is a big plus! It has a pleasant, tropical scent that’s not too overpowering, which I appreciate since some hair products can be quite strong. It’s refreshing and leaves her curls smelling good all day long without lingering too much. Curl Definition: This cream does provide decent curl definition—especially when used with the right technique. I did notice that her curls were more defined after applying the product, and the texture wasn’t crunchy or stiff, which is a huge plus. It also helped with frizz control, which is always a concern. Cons: Heavy for Fine Curls: While this product is rich and moisturizing, it feels a little heavy for her finer curls. I noticed that it sometimes weighed her hair down, leaving it looking flat rather than voluminous. If you have fine or low-density curls, you may find this cream a bit too thick and not the best for creating that bouncy curl look. Inconsistent Hold: We had mixed results when it came to hold. On some days, her curls lasted throughout the day with minimal frizz. On others, they fell flat or started to frizz up more quickly. I found that the curl definition was decent but not as long-lasting as I’d hoped. For longer-lasting hold, we needed to layer other products on top. Can Feel Greasy: On the days we used more than a small amount, her hair started to feel greasy as well as look greasy. The texture was a little heavier and left a slight residue, especially around the roots. I had to be careful not to over-apply it for her, which can be frustrating when you’re trying to achieve perfect curls with minimal product buildup. Final Thoughts: Overall, the SheaMoisture Curling Styling Cream is a good product, but it doesn’t quite live up to the hype for me. While it provides hydration, frizz control, and a good amount of curl definition, it’s not the most versatile for all curl types, particularly finer hair. If you have thicker, coarser curls or need intense moisture, this could work wonderfully. However, for those with finer curls, it may be a bit too heavy, and the hold might not be as long-lasting as you'd want. In summary, it’s not a bad product by any means, but it’s not our Holy Grail either.

I love this product because it moisturizes my baby hair soo well and has a lovely and welcoming scent that lasts for days even after rinsing her hair. I also noticed hair growth at the bald spot usually at the back of a baby's head. I just wished the price was lesser given the size of the product.

Very Good hair cream. Smells amazing and hold the hair for a long period of time. My son has short curly hair, it helps keep his curls together, gives the hair a light crisp through out the day. I wouldn't put too much on short hair though, just so the smell wouldn't be too strong. Small dime amount still hold the hair nicely.
