The only thing is that I'm probably going to be using this book a lot, so I almost wish I got a hardcover version! It doesn't seem the easiest to navigate since it's kinda stiff, and I might need one of those book clips to keep the pages open. Otherwise I love it! This is my first Spanish thesaurus and it's going to help build my vocabulary and improve my Spanish A LOT! Also there are certain words noted "Americanismo, América Central, Argentina, Bolivia, España, Panama," and probably dozens of other similar abbreviations noting the region certain words are spoken. Since I want to maybe translate professionally someday this will help me out a lot. Recommend! Also - I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning, but the book was sent from ThriftBooks.com. I order from them all the time, and I'm not sure if I paid more by ordering on Amazon (I likely checked ThriftBooks at the same time bc I'm on that site all the time) or if the seller happens to be selling on both websites? Either way - I guess I would recommend this seller? But also you should check out ThriftBooks!

I am a college student (U.S.) and have found this book extremely helpful in expanding my vocabulary. I am in my first year of Spanish as a second language and have been introduced to a lot of vocabulary through the school's curriculum, but it's really nice to have this book on hand. I take it everywhere with me. When something in my everyday life reminds me of a Spanish vocabulary word, I look it up. This book makes it easy to associate more words with their real-life meanings. It's easy to use and understand even at beginner levels.

I work as Spanish Medical Interpreter, although interpreting is my main job, I do translations like once a week. I have found many online resources when it comes to synonyms and antonyms, but this book is much better the any online dictionary. I am very picky when it comes to Spanish writing because I know the grammatical rules very well. This book has helped me to remember words I had already forgotten.

My mom wanted to order this book for her friend, he is a writer and he loved it… too bad Amazon does not deliver all the way to Argentina

Habe mir das Buch für mein Spanisch-Studium gekauft, es ist viel im Einsatz, denn es ist viel schneller als im Seminar den Laptop hochzufahren und online nachzuschlagen, zumal die Verbindung nicht immer gegeben ist. Traut euch, benutzt wieder mehr echte Bücher!
