Worth EVERY Penny-
As a life-long Star Wars fan since seeing the first film in 1977 at the age of 13, the film franchise has always captivated me with its tales of heroes and villains, Ultimate Good versus Irredeemable Evil, and the fight for justice in a galaxy that was corrupted.Part of my fascination has been in the concept art and minor stories developed for the films, characters, places, and the machinery that makes this space opera so grandly amazing, but at the same time believable. The Art of Star Wars books, as a series, has become something of a minor obsession of mine, and this latest book is no exception.Lavishly illustrated with hundreds of sketches and full color artwork, this book is a masterpiece of unfolding a film's journey from concept to finished work, all through the work created by dozens of artists to give life to the end of the Skywalker Saga. Its pages clearly unfold in chapters regarding the various aspects of its production; character and costume concepts, aliens, droids, and the set pieces of the worlds explored in the film, all of them breathtaking in their own right. It is in my opinion worth every penny you might spend on such a book, and will become a cherished item in my collection, and as a fan-based costume designer, one I will refer to countless times.A must-have for fans of the Star Wars saga.

Flawless reference book for digital artists! Learn professional brushwork and concept art.
This is my very first time purchasing a Star Wars art book. I bought it on sale with no huge expectations initially, but as an illustrator, I am thoroughly impressed by the dense visual reference it offers.Complete Universe Guide: The movie's world-building is fully captured here. From major characters and epic environments to detailed vehicle blueprints and trooper armor designs, every aspect of the film's concept art is meticulously documented with high-definition illustrations.Pro-Tip for Digital Artists (The Best Feature): While some traditional art purists might dislike that this book contains very few hand-drawn sketches and is heavily dominated by digital paintings (CG art), it actually offers a massive learning opportunity. If you look closely at the layouts, you can study the professional digital brushwork, edge control, and lighting techniques used by the industry's top concept artists. It is a fantastic reference for elevating your own digital painting skills.Exceptional Value: For art students or concept artists looking to improve their cinematic staging and color keys, this book is highly inspiring. The print and binding quality are top-notch, and grabbing this during a price drop makes it a steal. Highly recommended for creators who want to study high-level digital concept art!

Gorgeous book, gorgeous art! Great for people who can’t read as it has lots of pics. Of course, if you can’t read, this review is a waste of both our time. What do you want from me, Amazon????

best StarWars Art book so far
i love the landscape format! I hope they do all future art books in this format. The quality of the art is amazing, best of the series in my opinion, and i like the non-linear content, grouped by subject such as Costumes, Props, Aliens, Robots, etc. although going through the movie chronologically makes sense too.

Great Art But Not Everything's There
Lliked the book as much as the movie but it lacks some art of Palpatine, possibly to avoid spoilers. Still, I recommend this to any fan of Star Wars, the Sequels, or just concept art in general.

Great Art
Regardless of your feelings on the movie, this book is packed with incredible concept art by VERY talented artists! If you're a Star Wars fan, you'll find some cool stuff in here. However, you may be slightly depressed by the good ideas in here that got cut in favor of more... questionable choices for the final film.

Espectaculares ilustraciones de concept
Fantásticas ilustraciones de concepto, con mucho dibujo y poca letra, que es cumo debe ser en mi opinión un libro de arte de pelÃcula.

Another incredibly rich resource book! Ignore the dramatic comments...
Delicious!!!As usual, these art of books are amazing - a very rich and detailed peek into of all sorts of weird and wonderful ideas of the production. As expected though, theres an awful lot of dramatic temper tantrums about this book in the reviews - and lots of very flimsy 'arguments' against the book.Hot tip for you - the Palaptine/Exegol stuff is NOT in this book... why you ask? A LOGICAL reason is because theres 3 platforms to spread this content across (the visual dictionary/'the making of TROS' documentary)...Its in the 'making of documentary' that you can get on youtube....

Great book for a very bad movie
This is probably the worst Star Wars movie. The book was on sale so it worth 5 stars. It is gorgeous, the art concepts are stunning and darker than the actual movie. In fact, this book is better than the movie itself.
