These things are made for pennies in the dollar, but it is worth what people will pay so I thought this 10 pack for under $10 was fair.If you have the right tools (you can be a precision kit on Amazon), it’s not too difficult to disassemble the controller. Just be careful once you get down to the board.The first one I installed was fine. Here is the issue.Once installed, I noticed that the plug is slightly recessed in the controller versus being flush with the controller case. For my Turtle Beach headset, it works fine, but what you plug in will have to have a thin insulator around the plug to make sure it goes all the way in. Also, because it’s not flush with the case, this item moves around a little in the controller unlike the original. I tested it with A game and moved it around while playing sounds and there was no issue so I think it’s just the way things fit.So far, it meets my needs of getting audio out of the controller versus replacing the controller at $50.I bought the precision kit and these for about $20 total and can repair all four of my controllers. If the fitting issue will bother you, you may want to shop around and look a little closer at the picture. I included one for comparison.
