I have waited a few weeks to write this review to make sure the trimmer works - and it does! I have fair hair and sensitive skin so hate tweezing my brows as I can never see the hairs properly and I’m allergic to waxes. Have tried threading which was ok but still painful and it was a bit extreme for me. This little gadget is truly amazing - just hold like a pen and make small strokes against the direction of hair growth. It shaves the hair, it doesn’t pluck, so no pain. I was a bit worried the re growth would be stubbly but I haven’t noticed anything. It’s saving me a fortune getting them done professionally especially as my hairs are so fine it’s barely worth the pain of going! Really pleased and would repurchase. The light doesn’t work but I’m not too bothered about that. I use it weekly and it’s still working ok so far - have used it about 6 times now.

Value for money is brilliant on this. I have the original JVL one but couldn’t find it so bought this on price. It looks the same and works in the same way. It does pull slightly on eyebrow hairs and stops when the pull happens so not sure how long it will last but happy after a couple of goes.

I know people say that using these cause fast facial hair growth and they are right it does but if you have very sensitive skin as I do its a godsend. I can't use the bigger version on my skin as it causes severe rash but this is brilliant!! No irritation, no redness, just quick and easy facial hair removal.

It works, but it takes longer to use than the last one I had. Doesn't always cut the hair on first attempt, so you have to go over the area a few times. Good charge and looks good, but not the most accurate.

What an utterly useless product representing a total waste of money! Listing says “AAA battery included” but it wasn’t so had to go out to the shop to specifically buy one. I had high hopes that the gadget would be highly effective at eyebrow hair removal but it didn’t remove a single hair no matter how hard I tried to get it to do so. I tried various different techniques and repeatedly went over the same area but to no avail. Sadly, my eyebrows look exactly the same as they did when I first started! The light is pointless as it illuminates absolutely nothing and the pen tip got very hot after about 20 seconds of being switched on and I was worried I was going to get burnt. Save your money and DO NOT BUY THIS!! It is being returned to Amazon & I won’t be having a replacement.

This item was ordered at the request of my mother direct to her home. On arrival it did not work . I contacted the seller direct and they apologized and advised a replacement would be with us the next day and no need to mess about with returns etc . It did just that,arriving today 12/10 .seller dealt with the issue in a very quick and simple manner with no stress for me or mum . Price was great too as I purchased on a voucher offer . It has a good light so you can see what's going on helping create a precision brow in moments.

The item was easy enough to use, but I found it didn't really remove any hair, I used it on my eyebrows with high hopes but was very disappointed with the result, waste of money will go back to the salon in future.

Good value for the money. Its very easy to use, not painful, it has build in light the only down side is that it's made of the plastic but it seems strudy and I like the look of it.
