Bought this to replace a Samsung work phone that I use during traveling. My old case got a little worn out and I found this, as it looks quite similar to the one I had. The case is quite heavy duty at first glance, with rigid sides and larger appearance. But once you put your phone in, it looks pretty compact and sure enough, extremely sturdy.The case have transparent film on both front and back, which provide scratch protection. The four borders are tightly secured and protects your phone edges from bangs and drops.Suggestion during installation: don’t touch the inner side of the film or you’ll get fingerprints all over. The case comes with a standard cloth that you can use to wipe dust off or you can use that if you made a mistake like I did. A possible improvement for the manufacturer is that they can add a peel-off layer for the inside as well to prevent the handling issue.There’s also a strap that you can hoop around the corner of the case, providing carrying alternatives if you’re into that. Or you can loop on some anime figurines and other decorative.

Couldn't find a screen protector that would stay on until now. Now I don't have to worry about my phone getting scratched up at all. Very happy with it.

This case makes it difficult to use gut fingerprint reader or edge apps. The screen got really scratched up in my bag within 1 day of owning it. I can't fit my charger into the case. I regret making the purchase. However to be fair, if someone only purchased this to use in the water it would make sense, since it's waterproof.

I'm pretty abusive to my phone. Considering the fragile nature of the S8, I pretty much have to have a case. I bought this one after two lifeproof cases failed on me (each lasted a few months) and after one replaced screen in my phone. This case has been dropped countless times, pulled from toilets, bathed with my daughter, disassembled and reassembled nearly a dozen times, and it still hasn't failed me. I use a tempered-glass screen protector under it and have few issues with operation (the one issue I do have is difficulty pulling down the quick access menu located at the top of the screen: it has poor response there, but I am nearly certain this is only because of my glass screen protector and not due to this case). The fingerprint scanner is offset (I read complaints about this), but this is necessary from a design standpoint to allow adequate surface of the fingertip to reach the scanner without having to press super hard (the raised plastic on the case around the scanner would inhibit access if it were right against it, and since the camera is where it is, centering the scanner within the case's port is not possible). It's made the way it needs to be to function properly. Anyways, this is better than cases I paid $90 for at at&t store: it's WAY less expensive, truly dust/ waterproof (other cases I've bought make false claims about those features), and survives the constant abuse I put it through. When this one wears out, I will repeat my purchase. I have no need to even look at others now. Works with my wireless charger, but I do have to make sure I center it on the charging pad. The rubber plugs at charging port seal very well, and my fat fingertips usually have trouble gripping the little tab to remove them, but my wife removes them in seconds when I hand it to her to do it for me. I like the case and recommend.

Just got this today and the front cover already has scratches. I did the water test on it an it passed but after taking the front an back apart it didnt seal back as tight so this makes me want to retest it.Edit: i got this june 28th an it already has sooo many fingernail scratches!! It looks horried! So 0 stars.

Nice case for the price. It definitely is waterproof! Only drawback is that charging port opening is TOO SMALL and takes some finesse to get phone to charge. Right angle charging cords are pretty much useless with this case. Touch screen features work well with only little issues, so far. Haven't dropped the phone yet ( fingers crossed) but if all other features work as described, it should hold up.Definitely worth the money.Update, 8/13/19. Just a few weeks in use and screen is showing signs of scratches. Sad. Also, most of my charging cords will not work with this and wireless charging is non-existent as described in dealers description.Also, there are "voids" it gaps on the front screen, tapping certain areas must be done carefully or more than once.But it is watertight, so far.

When I got my new phone I was being pretty picky about what case I was going to get since this was the nicest phone I've owned up to that point. I didn't want something really bulky that takes away the thinness of this phone. I wanted one with a built in screen protector that didnt take away from the touch. And I wanted it to look cool. Well, this protector is all those things. While I do wish there were more color options (I ended up staying with black and it looks fine), everything else is great! It's not bulky at all. It feels fine in the hand, but I did get a popsocket which helps. It may not feel like a durable case because of the lack of bulkiness, but I've dropped it a handful of times with not a scratch or don't anywhere. I was most surprised at the screen, having never had a cover with a built in protector. This legit doesn't look or feel like one is even there. The touch sensitivity is not affected at all. I highly recommend this case.

The SNOWFOX Galaxy S8 Waterproof case with built-in screen protector works exactly as described. Instructions recommended assembling the case without the phone to test water proof ability first. I left the case submerged in 6" of water for over an hour. No Leaks!! Assembly was easy. Very happy with screen protector sensitivity even on the edges. Camera and Flash protectors are aligned perfectly, but finger print reader is a little too far right. Doesn't always read correctly. 1-2 times now after using it awhile. I may redo my finger prints to see if that makes a difference. Works with flat wireless chargers but it's a little too thick for my 2017 Volt wireless charging pocket. Fortunately the case if fairly easy to remove and replace.
