This product was awesome! Pretty easy to use, would recommend a hand held electric sander with 120 grit for best results! We applied it to 3 of our bathrooms. It sets quick in the jar so you must work fast (about 30 min time frame). It looks kind of bad as it dried because it was super visible, but we trusted the process and let it dry a full 24hrs before sanding it down. If you sand by hand you will need more than what they provide you if it’s a bigger job. I recommend try getting as much product off before it dries to make it easier if you are planning on sanding by hand.

This white epoxy is just what the doctor ordered for the repair of white porcelain or other white kitchen/shower/bath areas. It bonds extremely well and cures quite hard. It definitely feels like plastic after it cures, but it is a hard plastic. If you aren't particularly skilled at applying things like caulk and paint, you may get a little frustrated with this. There's just no way, that I found, to apply the stuff in a thin, consistent layer. They tell you to use a wooden spreader, so I dug out a wide-ish popsicle stick. Big mistake. All it did was encourage me to apply too much material. Next time, I will use a toothpick. My thought is that it would be better to build up the epoxy to an appropriate thickness than to try to apply a big glob of it that has to be smoothed out like cake frosting and subsequently removed. Be prepared to do some sanding. Possibly a lot of sanding. You are provided two sanding discs in two different grits, both of which are on the finer end of the spectrum. Use the coarser of the two grits to remove material and the finer one to put the finishing touches on your repair. If you have to do a lot of repair work, consider buying additional sanding discs/sheets. The included discs will clog quickly, at which point you will find yourself having to apply more pressure, while less material will be removed for the effort. You might have some success "refreshing" the included discs by wire-brushing them, but I did not bother to do that. I just grabbed another sheet I had on hand and used that. That sheet was considerably more coarse than what they include with the kit and it did a good job of removing excess material. Whatever you choose to do, always be sure to finish off with the finer grits. As you sand the epoxy to the appropriate thickness over a chipped area, the material becomes less opaque, so you may find that the underlying chip may start to show through a bit. That was the case on my kitchen sink, which is porcelain over black cast iron. The issue can be compensated for by leaving the material a little thicker over the chip and then feathering out your sanding from there. The good news is, if you are performing a repair over lighter-colored material, such as plastic or cast aluminum, a thinner layer of epoxy will likely still be sufficient to conceal the damage. Final thought: How well will the color stand up over time? Will it become discolored by coffee, tomato sauce and dirty dishwater? Only time will tell. But for now, it looks pretty good.

This product is pretty amazing. I used it to repair my acrylic shower floor which was burned by my bath fan catching fire. The product is a bit difficult to work with. It is thick, heavy, very sticky and gooey. I didn't measure it out in parts, I just put container A into B, mixed aggressively, applied slowly and used a lot of patience. The results were great. Once dry, this product blended well with the acrylic even keeping the shine. Pictures are worth a 1000 words so see the before and after below! Beats paying $12K for full bath replacement.

First time user. Prep work was easy, mixing the product was easy and the dry time was fine. I did find the mixture thicker than expected which made it hard to make smooth/blend in to the surrounding tub area. The first time application (about 1"x1" area) I wasn't happy with so I removed it. I found also that there is basically one shot at making it smooth -- there's no fiddling with it. I prepped the area again and applied again, but still had the same problem. The area is in a spot that isn't very visible, so I smoothed and sanded the edges as best I could and left it. There was another very small rusted area and I had better success with it. Upshot: I'm not sure I would use it again; but it could be that I just am not good at it. But for the price, it was worth a shot.

This product worked so well! Had a deep chip/hole with sharp edges on the side of our sink (cast iron pan fell into it). This product was easy to use and it looks wonderful! I wish I had taken before and after pictures of the repair because I really am pleased with it.

When the product arrived, it was apparent that it had leaked a little. The lid of one of the jars was not able to be opened due to that. Still, I thought I would try it because I only had a very tiny crack to fill in a bathroom sink. After using a power drill to open the darn lid, and reading all of the directions completely, I mixed the two jars as directed and used the plastic spatula included to fill the crack. It is exceptionally easy to apply too much of the mixture. And the more I tried to remove the excess, the stickier and messier it became. I am an experienced DIYer, and have completed many many renovations and repairs with no issues and nearly professional quality. This was flat out the most terrible repair project. I spent more time and energy filling one tiny crack. I finally got the product into the crack and smooth using only white applicators and smoothing tools of my own. The crack is still noticeable. The product is supposed to be color matching. My sink is white and is an American Standard, which is the brand the description says the color will match. It never changed. Instead, it turned a very light beige. Due to the time spent on this project, the problems beginning from the time I opened the package, and the new necessity of touch up paint, I decided to scrap the project and bought a new sink. I do not recommend this at all.

Had multiple sinks delivered and each one was broken into pieces. Had one finally delivered with a clean break and not in pieces. Epoxy the piece back together and used this as a filler. Sanded and painted and you would never know it was ever broken. Now if I didn’t paint it, you could see it if you actually looked at it for a minute. Quick glance and you wouldn’t know. Dried semi fast but I gave it 24 hours before adding more or sanding it.

First, the good. It is a perfect match white for my tub. It formed a great bond and is highly durable. Everything you would want in a finished product. The not so good. The instructions did not tell you how to remove this product from your hands or for removing excess. I finally figured out rubbing alcohol works. Secondly, the kit includes two pieces of sandpaper. A medium and fine grit. For any job, there should be at least 3 of each. The sandpaper was of cheap quality too. However, the kit at this time is less than $15. Just be prepared to have more fine grit sandpaper on hand. There was also one cheap little plastic glove. Maybe four or five. Good product and there is more than an ample amount of material for several quarter size chips or smaller. I do recommend this because the end result is perfect! Just be ready to have some extra things on hand for this project.

Serves the cause and does the job right.

I would not recommend this product. The compounds came spilled out of the containers all over the box and other contents. I asked for a refund

Great stuff, I didn't expect it to work as well as it did. I dropped a drill into our tub, putting a hole into the top part. This patched it up perfect. You wouldn't be able to tell where the patch is unless I pointed it out to you. Highly recommend.

Worked better than my expectations. The repair I did to a broken porcelain basin is virtually unnoticeable. Excellent product - but please follow instructions.
