I was hoping that with the history of the company that the shears were still made in USA, but that is not the case. There is an American flag on the package because the shears were "Designed in the USA".

I have been struggling with scissors that become dull 6-12 months after purchase. A friend of mine guarantees me that these scissors were worth the money and I have to say he was right. They work great and can cut through anything.

I bought these to replace my failed Westcott scissors, which had a flimsy plastic nut, which over time fatigued and broke when I needed them most. THESE scissors were clearly forged using testosteronium and Thor's hammer. No kidding they are heavy and tough as nails.. maybe tougher. The added key to tighten them as needed is also a heavy duty tool. These will last you a lifetime. My only issue- 10inch is larger than I needed. 8inch would have sufficed. If you have office duties in mind for this tool then 8 should be good! 10inch is Edward Scissorhands stuff. But still great. Nice to know that there is still good stuff being made in today's throw away age.

Finally! Scissors that fit my hand!! Nice large size and excellently designed.

I had to buy my wife a pair so she would stop taking mine out of my den, I have many good shears, but these are the best in the house... now times two.

I've used these scissors multiple times since I bought them and they are very high quality. They are sturdy, durable, and sharp. They are longer than most scissors, so keep that in mind, but I can tell these will hold up through years of use.
