Guy knows his stuff
Good presenter, decent amount of information. I would have liked to have seen more techniques shown; the hands-on part did get a bit boring. This is an pretty good video to have, but I'm still in search of one that has more practical demonstrations that my students can follow along with in class. The theory presentation was very good.

do not buy
This video is not very good. 1st of all the title is misleading, 2nd is not shiatsu but anma 3rd to call something clinical id expect to see several conditions, lower back, shoulder and neck pain is not enough, the presentation of the video is good and there is a tcm theory tutorial, if you are a beginner you might like the video just remember this is a anma massage video.

Good video but not complete
First let me say this is very well produced as far as the visuals. It is very well done. John Hickey is also good at demonstrating and explaining the basic hand movements of shiatsu. Unfortunately though there are not many complete massage protocols on the video. He shows the basic opening sequence, but there is a lack of explanation of what to do after that. For example, he covers how to massage each meridian but it only totals like 15 min. That's only a tad bit more than a minute per meridian. This video left me wondering..."what now?" So if you companion this up with a good book on shiatsu I think the video is useful to show you the hand positioning and movements. But considering it is a pricey video...I was really left needing more.

Interesting and reasonably well done...
I found the dvd to be quite well produced. The information was well presented. It could have been better - but it most certainly could have been worse!I was not 'blown' away by the content and presentation, but I do not regret the purchase either....interesting and reasonably well done.

BEST DVD
IT'S A VERY GOOD DVD EXCEPT THERE ARE COUPLE THINGS I LIKE TO MENTION. ONE, IT DOES'NT SHOW ONE TRANSION TO ANOTHER WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT PART OF SHIATSU OR ANY OTHER MASSAGE. SECOND, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH STRECH TECHNICS FOR DIFFERENT MERIDIANS. THIRD, IT SHOULD SHOWS COMPLETE SHIATSU MASSAGE BEFORE IT BREAKS DOWN INTO ARMS AND LEGS.
