The Maze Runner Files: Classified Records and Concelaed Information

The Maze Runner Files is a short e-novella with short stories, files, and emails pertaining to the trilogy. It's a quick read and it's a bit pricey, but I don't regret buying it at all. I really loved reading the little tidbits and insight on Wicked personnel and their feelings about the Maze. There's really nothing new if you have read all of The Maze Runner books, but it was still entertaining and worth the read. Perhaps the best part of this enovella is the short scenes from Frypan, Thomas, and Minho's point of views. The Maze Runner Files is best read after The Death Cure or The Kill Order. This was a perfect refresher for one of my favorite series and helped rejuvenate my excitement for The Maze Runner movie. Also there's a preview of The Eye Of Minds, James Dashner's upcoming novel. I have already read the full novel and I absolutely loved it so I skipped the preview. Overall The Maze Runner Files was a quick, but excellent goodie that is sure to delight fans of The Maze Runner.

This is a good book for a fan of the maze runner who has read the entire series. If you have only read the first book or are not a huge fan, then this is not worth reading. This book can spoil much of the second and part of the third book. Even if you are a big fan who has read the first three books, this is only a thirty minute read and is not especially great. However, I thought that it was worth the two dollars.

It was a good read, but half of the information had been printed at some point previous. It took me all of thirty minutes to read the new information, and then the remaining third of the book is a preview for Eye of Minds. I'm not complaining (well, maybe I am), but I wanted to read more about the Maze Runner and learn more about the characters, not see recycled material and the preview for an entirely different series. Worth twenty-five cents? Definitely. Two bucks? No way.

It is worthy of the trilogy to have some gaps and other points of view from parties in this book and trilogy. I just dont feel the "ending" of the present scale throughout the text was enough.

Read books 4 ,5, and the Ebook first, then read 1,2,and 3 next. I read the books in order then read the 3rd book twice to see who lived and who went through the flat trans. The books and the movie are similar in content. I reccomend reading the books in 4, 5, the Ebook, 1, 2, 3 order. It explains the story line from the beginning to the end instead of end to the beginning.

This "book" is somewhat interesting, but extremely short. It took me about 20 minutes to read the entire thing. It consists mostly of emails between members of WICKED that are not even introduced in the original books and a few "subject studies" on a handful of the characters from the series. It provides a different prospective on things, but only contains about two pages of information that the reader didn't already know after reading the three books. $0.99 would be a fairer price. What disappointed me the most was the fact that the content you are paying for is literally 50% of the what you are actually getting. The remaining 50% of the book is an advertisement for Dashner's novel "Eye of Minds." The author and publisher are using people's love and loyalty to the Maze Runner series to trick them into paying good money mainly so they can promote the next book. If you love the series, go ahead and purchase it to satisfy your curiosity, but don't expect too much.

Maze Runner Files is the story of how the flare came to be and is told in bleeped out recording transcripts and inter-office WICKED memos. It was so creepy. I haven’t been creeped out that much since the bridge of Khazad-dûm in Lord of the Rings (I’m talking about book not the movie.) It talks a lot about setting up the experiment and really makes you ponder ethics and science. There is also a memory in here of Thomas remembering how the flare affected his parents and it’s really sad. This is a must read if you liked the Maze Runner series but read it last – it’s totally full of spoilers.

Me esperaba que aclararan algo más. Realmente no aporta nada nuevo. Adelanta tramas de otra trilogía lo que para mí sobra.

Those short stories were quite interesting to read, however I can't give it more than 3 stars as this was very very short and maybe should have been additional content to one of the main books. However you do learn some interesting tidbits and you can have the view from supporting characters that we all know and love. If you're a fan, go ahead, it's not that expensive and it can give you some answers.

Der Teil, der dem "Buch" den Namen gab macht nur ca 50% aus und war entsprechend meinen Erwartungen positiv, der Rest ist jedoch ein Ausschnitt aus einem anderen Buch des Autors. Deshalb ist der Preis zu hoch.

Carino, ma pochissime pagine. Ne viene fuori un libricino un po' misero.

Expands on the original books while providing context to improve understanding. Lots of detail in a very short book taking me under half an hour to read.
