This story starts with Violet being kidnapped and stuck in a compound waiting to be sold as a sex slave. Ivan is in charge and helps her. There are a lot of details that go into how the compound is run and it really breaks your heart to know how horrendous it is in the human trafficking world. The authors did a good job balancing the delicate topic and unfolding Violet and Ivan’s growing connection. The intimate scenes were also dot on 🥵.Looking forward to Roman’s book next.

The book takes off from the beginning and never lets up. It fast paced, well written with great side characters and interconnected with the others in the series but can still be a standalone.

I greatly enjoyed this addition to the authors 'Rossi Crime Family' series.Ivan (anti-H) works for the senior Rossi, an utterly evil & despicable mob boss specializing in human trafficking. Violet (h) is one of the terrorized women kidnapped & taken to Rossi's compound to be 'prepared' for auction. And Ivan is in charge of each 'shipment' of kidnapped women, to ensure they make it to each auction in order to obtain the optimum sale price for Rossi's empire.But a chance run in between a terrified Violet & Ivan brings her to his attention & a past tragic memory of Ivan's is triggered by the sight of Violet & causes him to deviate from his 'business as usual' treatment of women where it concerns her.This book was dark, there are triggers & Ivan is NOT a good or nice man. He's done heinous things & turned a blind eye to heinous things, but he just cannot do that when it comes to his little Kitten. He wants, needs, to save her to save his soul. All he needs to do is escape with Kitten then evade capture & retaliation by Rossi & his men . . . . .I think the authors did an admirable job taking a man who has done reprehensible things, has a dark heart & soul & made the reader root for his potential salvation. Violet was a wonderful character, innocent, tenacious, loving, hopeful, enduring & so loving of Ivan.,This story (IMO) was excellent, gripping, tense, suspenseful, sizzlingly erotic while the plot, the characters & the writing captured my interest from beginning to end.I loved this one.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Rreally a lot of emotions at the beginning of the book you really feel for Violet and how she got taken. Then you get into Ivan who is torn between wanting to help her but feeling he can't. He also is trying to right what he thinks is a wrong from the past can he trust himself though. A good book with strong characters.

This was such a good book. It was a fast paced, drama filled read. It has great characters. Can’t wait to read more.

This is Book 4 of the Rossi Crime Family Series. This book as in the others in this series was fantastic! Page after page I was begging for more! Warning: You will want to read entire book in one sitting. Violet was kidnapped from a club on none other than her birthday. She was taken to a small room with only a stained mattress and bed and a tiny bathroom. It seems like days and no one has come to check on her until one night two drunken guards come in and try to force themselves on her. She somehow manages to break free by fighting them off and she runs into a muscle of a man. She flings her arms around him and she finds something she has been longing for...warmth. She begs the man to help her to only realize he is the boss, Ivan. Ivan keeps the guards away from her. Ivan is not a good man. He is a mobster and has killed many people. But something about Violet captivates Ivan. He starts helping her and taking her to his apartment at night to sleep. The auction of the girls is coming soon and he makes it clear there is no way he can help her from that. Or can he? She seems to bring him comfort like he's never had but it can't last can it?

I couldn’t wait to read Violets story after reading Ella’s in the last book. It was really interesting to see her side and the events that led up to her situation. I loved her and Ivan together from the beginning.

I can say that this book was a great one. Ivan is a big gruley man that has a lot of evil men under his control ,but when two of his men go after one of the girls that is hold up ,and when she runs right into him she thinks that he might be the one to save her. Violet has had one hell of a night and when it comes to a guy grabbing her she thinks nothing could go more wrong her that is until she runs into a brick of a man . Ivan and violet will have some wild rides that can only end in happiness that's what both of them hope for . I can't wait to see what happens to ivans brother .

This was so good! I just loved the dark and dangerous plot, I was literally on the edge for most of the book. The plot was filled with lots of action, dark themes and some very steamy sex scenes! Can't wait to read more in the series!

Enjoyed Ivan and Violets story, dark mafia love story, Roman's story next, Ivan and Roman are not really Rossi family but the stories are all linked.

Guard Me is the 4th book in the Rossi series and tells Violet's story. Violet is Ella's sister, who we heard about in Ella and Xander's book. Ivan and Violet make for an interesting couple and the stiry as it progressed just kept me enthralled. It has everything you need for a great book, kidnapping, danger, rescue, reconciliation and great characters. Loved the book and want the series to continue beyond the original books. Hopefully this very talented duo keep collaborating together and we stay in the Rossi world.

The relationship between Ivan and violet was so sexy and intense from the beginning. Enjoyed how their lust for one another unfolded page after page. Can’t wait for the next instalment
