Jessica Simpson Women's Mandalaye Ballet Flat

I bought these shoes because I bought a different color from Macy's and loves them. I actually bought the pinkish ones at the begining of the summer but haven't worn them very much. The few times I did, they made the back of my heel bleed but I didnt think much of it and figured they needed to be worn in. I've come to realize that these shoes are not the same leather material as the original ones I bought from Macy's. They are not soft, they are stiff. I thought the quality just might have gone down but I'm at Macy's today and they have the same pair in the same color and it is the soft leather like the my old pair. The price is $69.00, just about the same as the price here. Buy them in the stores. I can't imagine how they can be fake but I'm telling you, they are definitely not the same shoes.

I was obsessed with the Chloe ballet flats that cost about 400.00 - I was so obsessed that I spent hours searching online for a knock off pair that didn't look like a knock off - there are so many out there, but they all had something I didn't like about them - the toes on some were not square (which is imperative if you want the "toe shoe" effect"), some had heels that were just to obvious..(these do have heels - & they look big, but they are NOT) - I saw the black pair & thought , "well , I need black flats, so I'll try them out" - when I received them, I was absolutely thrilled..I put them on immediately & wore them around the house all night - they were so authentic looking (I was a ballet dancer for 14 years), and,best of all,they were amazingly comfortable! I couldn't believe it! So I went right back to my computer and looked for them in pink ( the traditional "ballet pink"). Zero Joy. Then I realized that this brand had a color called "natural" - I thought , " well, I love the other ones. So having a pair that are skin tone ( I have very light skin) would be great for times I'm not wearing black"Then they arrived ,and to my amazement, they were actually the ballet pink I had been searching for!! Not only that, but the crisscross elastic was made of a satin elastic!! So pretty & again , so comfortable!! And I have to say, I have become a walking advertisement for these shoes ..people stop me and ask me all the time where I got them..I've even had people offer to buy them from me right then & there! But there's no way I'd part with them..I just direct them here & when I tell them the price they can't believe it! In conclusion , I lucked out like crazy & if you have a thing for those Chloe flats, you won't be disappointed , believe me.

I really love these shoes! They are so beautiful, and I feel like a prima ballerina wearing them (well, in the morning at least). For me, they seem to run small and narrow and I should have sized up 1 whole size (which I have never had to do before). I generally wear a size 7.5 in flats and heels; and in sneakers I wear an 8. I got an 8 in this shoe, thinking that would be safe, and they do fit but they are almost too tight. My feet and ankles tend to swell during the day and by they end of the work day wearing these (even after taking them off under my desk for the majority of the time) I legit have cankles. So, will I still wear them? Of course, because I'm a masochist and beauty is pain, and I can't return them now. But, I do recommend ordering a half size to even a full size bigger.

Got these in the mail today and was so dismayed to see they were fakes. The J. Simpson Mandalay ballet flat was my go-to Summer shoe for 2 years. I love them so much it’s my 3rd time buying them. What I received today was off in every way. Fresh out of the box, the elastic was over stretched and tired looking. Also, the color was off. Honestly, everything about it was off including the smell and the box it came in. DO NOT BUY!!!

These are cute, very nice quality shoes. Other reviewers mentioned they are narrow, and I would definitely agree! I went up a 1/2 size, fully expecting that I would need more room. Even with the extra length, it's a tight, narrow fit for my mammothly wide feet. There is enough support in this shoe to be able to wear it for a while during the day, however the tight elastic and narrow width make it impossible for me to wear it for very long before my feet swell and they don't fit. If you have average to wide feet, these may not be for you even if you go up a 1/2 size or two. If you have narrow feet, I'd say go for it because these shoes are way too cute!Update: The leopard print pair of shoes actually worked out very, very well since they stretched out quite a bit after some wear. In fact, after they stretched out and I found I could wear them quite regularly I ordered two other pairs including the snake print and solid black print. Both the snake print and the solid color pair of shoes didn't stretch out though, and that made it so I had blisters after only wearing them for a short time. The fabric of the leopard print must allow for more give and stretch than others made with different materials. The leopard print shoes are definitely my very favorite and I wear them nearly every day!

These Jessica Simpson Women's Mandalaye Ballet Flats are so, so, cute and super comfortable.These shoes feature a leather, ballet-style, upper. The sole is a black, rubber-like, material and has maybe a 1/4" elevation at the heel. There is a wide, elastic band which criss-crosses in the front to serve as an ankle strap and add a fashion touch. They are low cut at the toe area so there will definitely be toe cleavage. The front toe is squared off like a ballet pointe shoe - very cute. There is slight padding in the insole and no arch support.While I wouldn't call these wide width, because of the low cut in front and the sides, it seems to fit a wider foot pretty well because the elastic straps keep the foot firmly in place. But I have a narrow foot and I tried these on and they seemed to stay on fine.I got these as a gift for a teen young lady and they look adorable with jeans and with dresses and skirts. She loves that they stay on when she is running for the bus. I am going to buy a pair for myself since they look and feel so nice.

Love the look, love the style, people comment on them. And very comfortable. Only hang up is the material. Synthetic materials sometimes start to hold odour quickly, regardless of clean feet.

I love these shoes - so much so I now own three pairs! They are extremely comfortable with padded insoles. The only thing that really lets them down is the plastic lining which is such a shame in an otherwise perfect shoe.

Bought my usual size. Wearable but a little roomy width wise. Lovely shape and comfortable. A bit pricey

Nice quality and comfortable shoes, I’m Uk size 5 and us size 7B fitted well.
