It has saved me time and money with it's self marking capabilities. I work with wood and build tables and am really impressed with this tool. No more pencils! It's really tough too. I dropped it while carrying some wood and a drill up the cement steps at my place and it just bounced down the stairs. I was concerned it would be damaged but it didn't even have a scratch on it! Fast, easy and durable. Now that's the kind of performance I need!Oh, when I placed my order last week, I was told Amazon was sold out of the QuickDraw tape and the estimated delivery date would be beyond the third week in February. The built in marker is very handy and has been very useful on projects. It came with extra graphite to refill which is easy to do. The notch at the end is secured well and long enough to grab onto a board/surface. The tape measure is thick and holds a line well. Overall very happy with this purchase! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worthy *by on Reviewed in the United States February 5, 2015* This self marking tape is very good and I found myself looking for it over my trusty "had forever" tapes on a couple of test projects. I have a trim carpenter, aerospace structures, rocket science type of background. This self marking tape works best on flat surfaces or slightly curved surfaces and made short work of a build from scratch door, flower boxes and overhead beam repair. It took a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's awesome. I tested it on various wood, plastic, metal and masonry surfaces: it excels on wood and was acceptable on the other surfaces. . I still needed the trusty pencil and straight edge for long scribe lines and tricky surfaces but the tape is definitely a time saver. Marking on small diameter pipe or elaborate uneven trim surfaces might just need some more practice. Once I located the refills (I'm a messy worker), it took a whole 10sec to get loaded and back to work. It's a worthy product and mine was well made.
