Sunline Super FC Sniper Fluorocarbon Fishing Line

I had a brand new spool of 15lb Invizix break off mid air. Trolled up to the bank and got my jig with the line still tied to it. Blew my reel up in the process. Ripped that stuff off and put Sniper on. Not a single issue so far. This stuff is awesome!

Good strong line. Rarely breaks and lasts a long time. My only complaint might be a little too much memory that causes it to curl up when trying to untangle a rare backlash.

TLDR: Do it. Best price for quantity/quality I’ve found. ***FC Sniper 7lb test flourocarbon*** There’s something to be said about the overall feel of this flouro. For me it has all of the characteristics for my fishing style (I prefer jigs, chatterbaits, spinner/underspins). I had been a long time fan of Seagar Yellow label, but I actually prefer the suppleness and abrasion resistance of the FC Sniper. In my opinion it stretches a bit more, but everything just works. Best deal around. Do it.

I was a little hesitant to use 12 lb flouro again on a spinning reel that's max rated for 12 lb mono. I tried the Berkely XL Smooth Casting 12 lb flouro and it was a NIGHTMARE. Nothing but bird's nests and having to straighten the line out on nearly 100% of my casts. Finally, after a few fishing trips I just cut off what little line was left on the spool. After reading the reviews for this line I figured I would give 12 lb flouro one more shot with this Sunline brand. I've fished 3x with it and so far no problems whatsoever. Only once or twice out of hundreds of casts was there a loop in the line, no birds' nests, no snapped lines from fish and it casted just as far and smooth as the Berkley 10 lb smooth casting line. This is my new go to flouro line.

I've tried a lot of different fluorocarbon lines and this one tops them all. Low memory, easy to cast and resistant to nicks and cuts. I fish a lot of laydowns, brush and timber and it's tough as nails under those condition. Spend a little more and don't worry about breaking fish off because the line failed. Highly recommended!

My first foray into fluorocarbon. I was frightened by some of the reviews on giving it a try. I spooled it up on a spinning reel with no problems. I then went fishing. Used no swivel casting a swim bait and didn't experience any line twist or unspooling on it's own. Didn't notice any memory any worse than similar diameter mono. Really didn't see any advantage or disadvantage to mono on the way it cast ,felt or set hooks. Maybe it sinks better;couldn't tell that either. Permanent snag in cat tails showed me it doesn't break prematurely as it required a lot of effort to break off. Seemed better in that regard to mono of same # test. The visibility advantage I do believe as I found it hard to see tying knots as the light doesn't reflect on it.. Whether that's worth the price to me I guess depends on how clear of water you fish. Caught em for me.

Awesome line, very strong. Thin diameter. Lasts a long time. Little to no memory. Will always buy this line again and again. 100% satisfied
