Comparison To Other Brands
I’ve used all types of pomades throughout my life and this is hands down the best one yet. I’ve been using suavecito since high school but I’ve been noticing weaker hold and performance during application controlled cool environments; slightest sun is no good either. Not only that but it’s been drying out my hair a ton which it was not beforehand. I’ve noticed a drastic difference after switching to uppercut deluxe. The hold is really strong and it does not come apart even with this 100 degree. I’ve yet to test the hold during an intense workout so I’m curious to do so. Smells like coconut too so that’s a plus. The application is pretty easy too. Shine is not too shiny just right. My hair has also been feeling much more conditioned after washing the product out. I’m glad I gave it a try.

The best all around hair product you'll ever use, I swear!
It smells amazing, not greasy, and the hold is stiff without being rock hard. The best product I've ever used, and I have the additional need for use with my handlebar mustache. While it looks red in the canister, it dries clear. It may feel too thin to use for a mustache, but it dries quickly enough that it holds a shape perfectly in seconds, so much so that I easily get daily compliments. With a little water it'll reactivate and hold and be shapeable , and a little more water will wash it right out. Do yourself a favor and give it a try, it's the best you'll use!

Essential product for thick, wavy, unruly hair! Love it!
Excellent product! In my opinion having a pomade like this is an essential men’s hair product. I have medium length thick, coarse, wavy hair that can be very unruly and difficult to tame. This product keeps everything neat, tidy, tight, and in place. Keeps the hairstyle in place for the day and has great lasting power. My style is more of pompadour/classic quiff and this pomade helps cut back on styling time with its strong hold. The smell is very masculine and pleasant without being overpowering. It does have a higher shine which I think enhances the style I’m going for and gives it a more polished look. I found that it is possible to decrease the level of shine by simply blow drying. I’m using both this and redken brews (medium hold/natural shine), while both are great products, this pomade gets the job done better for what I’m looking for and my hair texture as opposed to the Redken. Definitely recommend Uppercut’s deluxe pomade!

Uppercut Deluxe Vs Monster Hold + a Tip on Keeping it Fresh
So as I started to write this review I noticed that the reviews on Amazon apply to both the Deluxe and Monster Hold Pomades. While it's not as strong as I wish it was, I love the Deluxe version. After it dries it leaves a crisp hold to it which keeps your hair where it needs to be but can be easily brushed out with your hand. I just wish it had a tiny bit more hold to it. The other thing I love with the Deluxe is that it's completely water soluble and washes out VERY nicely, where as most other products I've used in the past (the ones with any noticeable hold) leave a residue even after a thorough washing. Ok, so that said, the Monster Pomade is not to my liking. It has a very waxy feel to it, similar to the Hemp styling paste I used before when I had shorter hair (probably a better product for that hairstyle), and it DOES NOT wash out that easily. It definitely has a MUCH stronger hold than the Deluxe, but I really don't like the rough waxy texture... I hope that review helps clarify some fine details about the Deluxe vs Monster Hold pomade by Uppercut - kinda wish I had known this before I ordered the Monster Hold. UPDATE: It seems like Amazon finally separated the two listings, but I thought I would just leave this part up since I already wrote about it, and people should at least know the difference between the two. My tip on keeping it FRESH: So I live in a rather humid environment in Hawaii, and I don't use a lot of the pomade every day, so the container lasts me at least 3-4 months. Obviously I'm opening it on a daily basis, so moisture gets into the container and onto the product. What I noticed that if I kept the styrofoam insert, which is usually attached to the inside of the lid, over time the pomade stays more "fresh", as opposed to when I used to throw the insert away, which resulted in the product getting super sticky and gooey. Your milage may vary on this, but I've actually tested two out over a period of four months, and the one with the foam insert left on the inside of the lid stayed noticeably more "fresh", as opposed to the other one that started getting more and more gooey over time.

It is definitely worth the price.
It’s an awesome product. My old barber intended me to it. Now I’m a loyal customer. It holds great and it smells amazing. Small amount goes a long way.

Good stuff for thick hair.
Okay, so I will start by saying that this pomade is great for my hair. I have been alternating between this and Layrite Superhold and use them for different results. What I have found with the Uppercut pomade is that I can get a relaxed, almost natural looking pomp (as in it looks like my hair actually grows that way) with half a finger's worth of the stuff. It sets immediately after working it into your hair and the part that I love is that if i run my hands through my hair it doesn't really feel greasy. You can tell there is product there, but it isn't hard or sticky like the layrite can be. Also has a little bit of shine to it. If you use too much of this stuff though, it ruins it. It gets greasy and sticky. The hold will be incredible, but it's not worth it. Also, work this pomade in dry unless you want it to look super sleek. Damp hair turns this stuff into a gel; for my hair at least. I use the Layrite for a different styling. I'd use this stuff for a job interview or a business setting because it has more shine and I can use more of it to weigh the hair down ( i mean, you have to with the layrite) where the Uppercut will be too sticky and ugh. It has a sleek look to it, however, it feels like a gel after it sets. I can't run my hands through my hair without messing up a pomp or side part and running to the bathroom to make it not look like I was struck by lightning or went on a joy ride with marty mcfly in a delorian. The Uppercut pomade will stay put. I have a skin fade hairstyle and either pomp up top or do a side part with about 4 inches of hair up top. My hair is super thick and that's where I think Uppercut works best.

Quality pomade at a good price
I’ve used a lot of pomades over the years and this one is hands down the best one I’ve used. Requires no water and must be applied in dry hair. Not too firm to where it feels like I have something stuck in my hair and long lasting with a good hold and no greasy look.

Uppercut Deluxe Pomade Review: A Timeless Classic
Uppercut Deluxe Pomade is a staple in my grooming routine and has been for 3 years now. This water-based pomade delivers a strong hold and a high-shine finish, making it ideal for creating classic and timeless hairstyles. What I Love: * Strong Hold: The pomade provides a firm hold that keeps my hair in place throughout the day, even in humid conditions. * High Shine: The finish is incredibly glossy, giving my hair a sleek and polished look. * Water-Based Formula: Being water-based, it's easy to wash out with shampoo, making it a convenient option for daily use. * Versatility: The pomade is versatile enough to create a variety of styles, from slicked-back hair to textured looks. Things to Consider: * Consistency: The pomade can be a bit thick when first applied, so it may take some practice to achieve the desired amount. Pea sized is always enough for me. Overall, Uppercut Deluxe Pomade is a fantastic product that delivers on its promises. It's a reliable and versatile option for anyone looking to achieve classic and stylish hairstyles.

Strong hold for slicked back hair
Great product that I use for slicking my hair back. It says it’s a 7 hold, but I’ve found that it is quite stronger than that! I have thick hair, apply when it’s damp to dry, and my hair stays in place all day. Smells nice, holds well, and washes out easy. Great product and will purchase again.

Very,
I did not expect the product to be this small. They should update the picture to have a comparison with their other products. Looks like this one was made for ants.
