Extra Large/Large Natural Wood Log Slice Tree Bark Wedding Table Centerpiece Cake Stand (Medium)

I bought this as part of my Christmas decor. I had separately purchased a small house and trees that light up. It was displayed on a wooden log piece like this, but original retailer doesn’t sell the log piece. I therefore purchased from Amazon and added fake snow to it. It’s a very sturdy weight and looks great on my sideboard with other Christmas decor. Could also be used to display cakes or other treats. I will definitely use it every year and therefore it’s great value for money.

Practicalities: just as described. I can think of many uses for it, mostly to do with tableware. I bought it because I wanted a nice piece of wood to look at and hold. This desire, I think, was prompted by the Log Lady in 'Twin Peaks'. Possibly I am, as psychologists point out, driven by the universal urge to give a conscious reason for my purchase long after the decision was made by some mysterious unconscious forces. Has many uses, not just for cakes, I purchased 3 of these to make cat platforms which helps my cats get onto the pergola roof, here is a picture, Reyna loves this one !

I bought this to display a wedding cake to give a rustic feel, the size was perfect although it was slightly flimsy but a few coats of clear varnish helped with this. Overall a great purchase

This was perfect for my cake. Good size and depth and price was excellent. It's not varnished or sealed so doesn't clean easy. I'm going to seal it with a rub on wax. I also used it at xmas for a candle display. Glad I bought it.
