QualGear QG-TM-002-BLK 37-Inch to 70-Inch Universal Ultra Slim Low Profile Fixed Wall Mount LED TVs, Black

After reading MANY reviews and looking at three similar products each double to triple the price, I decided to go with this for my new Panasonic 65" mini-led TV. I wanted it flat on the wall, with no need to position or rotate/tilt. This offered the closest application to the wall .4/.5" - I'm happy to report it worked perfectly. Now, you can flex the bar with your two hands OFF the wall, but secured to the wall it's more than strong enough to hold the properly sized/weighted tv. Don't be afraid. Had every part necessary imaginable included with multiple screw sizes. I was fortunate my application hit TWO STUDS so I'm very confident of its installation. DO pre-drill out the screw-holes at LEAST 3" inches deep as the thick lag screws are a BEAR to screw into the studs easily. My only mistake was not having a metric Socket wrench to make their tightening easier. You WILL STRIP the screws with a Phillips screwdriver and practically strip your hand in the process. PLEASE do yourself a favor and have the appropriate size socket wrench/head available and you'll be fine. I used four lag screws into the studs and it felt very secure. I would suggest if you don't hit two studs to increase your four screws to SIX if you are using in drywall applications. I think adding the additional screws will stabilize the wall plate. Do yourself a favor and loop a LONG string between the pull-downs that clip the bottom of the holder into place AFTER handing the tv. it will be IMPOSSIBLE to try to grab them once on the wall .. impossible. Pull down and click into place and then you can cut the string and remove it so it's not visible or tuck it up behind for future use. I'm a thoroughly impressed by the relative ease, contents and SLIM attachment to the wall. I'd buy this again and look no further.

I've ordered a few of these, and they are great. Comes with all hardware needed and a level to make it easy to mount properly. The mount can hold a fairly large screen with no issues, including a 70 inch TV if it's not too heavy. The obvious best feature about this mount is that it's extremely slim, and a modern thin TV will hang on the wall like a picture and hardly stick out of the wall. The tv hooks in and can be easily removed by pulling down on the velcro straps, but it locks in safe and won't fall off the wall if knocked or pushed. The metal and hardware is good quality, not much more to say. Once you install the mount you will forget it exists, which is how I like it.

This TV mount is very good. We enjoy a more clean and minimalist house. For this reason we were looking for very slim TV mounts. This TV wall mount is great, because of price, strength, thickness and easy to install process. Two monta ago I installed it first in our master bedroom to mount a 65” TV. And last week I got another TV mount to hang a 43” TV in the guest bedroom. Works perfectly, no problems at all. Both are installed in aluminum studs.

I was really impressed with this ultra thin tv mount. The metal is decent thickness, I was actually surprised. Both arm hangers were same length and hook was bet the same on both. I wish I took better picture but for all intended purposes it's good enough. This mount is so close to the wall it's crazy. Be mindful of a few things here. (1) As mentioned hanger release straps are way too short for how close this is to the wall. Tie fishing line onto loops to act as extenders. (2) Be mindful of all cords and plan accordingly ( I had to cut center of segmented double gang that splits outlet side from pass through because of my tvs power cord interfered ). (3) Buy a flat HDMI cable. It ends up working out very well to achieve greater flatness. (4) Its definitely a 2 or 3 person job. One on each end and one adjusting cables. I had to remount tv several times due to cable issues and locking mechanism wouldnt lock on one side. I believe it was due to wall un-eveness. I was able to get it eventually. I used a lighted grabbing tool to assist with grabbing cables and visibility, since space was limited. Great product and even greater because of the price.

Bought this one specifically because of the "low profile" and it is very close when mounted on the wall. Even if I try to look behind the TV I can't see any of the wires back there. The bracket is supporting a 50 lb Sony LED with a flat back and seems to be a very solid install. Once hung, the bottom of the TV swings out far enough to run wires into the low voltage pass through cover I mounted in the wall to hide the wires inside the wall. Very happy with the final results with a nice classy look with invisible wires. Great instructions and nice assortment of mounting screws and spacers. This install may be more interesting with some of the newer TVs that have a stepped back surface but for mine it was the perfect mount. Can't complain about the price either

Most good slim mounts are 2-1/2 to 4 times as expensive, and this mount is as good or better. What you need to understand, is that the bottom clips of the vertical rails are spring loaded. Unlike the pictures you see, those straps really only go about half way down the rails. So when you hang it up you don’t have access to those straps. Which means you can’t get the bottom spring clip to open and accept the horizontal bar. I tied a ten inch loop of butchers twine to the straps before we put it on the wall mounted rail. After we got the top of the hooks on, I simply pulled the strings and viola. Cut the strings off and done. The parts are sturdy and are of no lesser quality of anything I’ve seen. Of course the metal is a little thinner, but it is a slim mount. I hung my Samsung S95B on it, and I’m completely confident it’s secure. Nice job from QualGear.

Great product, very tight to the wall. You will need a tv that has its inputs to the side as there is no clearance if plugged straight into the back of tv

They thought of everything including a small level! The instruction were more than adequate, easy to follow, lots of pictures. I've lost count of the number of TV wall mounts iv'e purchased over the years but, to the best of my recollection, none of them were as robust as this!

I wanted a TV bracket that would be as close as possible to the wall without digging in the wall. this is by far the beat i have found. THE LG Oled C1 is perfect. It is super solid. Can reach studs 24 inch apart no problem. If you want flush mount get this.
