Excellent food-grade quality, but TINY.
Food grade quality, very potent true peppermint oil, but be aware... the bottle is indeed tiny. It is about 1 inch tall. It is enough to make peppermint hot chocolate a few times or flavor a few batches of frosting, because it is true peppermint oil and potent, but won't make much more than that.

Excellent quality, do not substitute 1/1 for extract.
This is pure peppermint oil with no alcohol, so a little goes a long way: Do NOT substitute 1/1 for extract! Very fine quality product--- this is my second bottle. I use it for baking and ice cream making and have been very happy with it.

Perfect for candies.
I use this oil for my butter mints. Can not find often in the stores. Happy to have found larger (1 oz) size. The brand is one that I’ve used and found to be easy to use and a very good quality. Will buy this brand again and again.

Very Potent
I WORK IN THE emergency Department in Arizona so you can imagine the smells that come through that place. I noticed someone using LorAnn Peppermint spray it was so strong it cleared the air and my sinuses. Which is a plus for me I suffer from sinus headaches that is so severe it triggers migraines. So smelling this was heaven and I just had to know what and how to get this. Fpund the bottle hid in the storage closet and took a pic and was told it is special ordered through the pharmacy. However when I ran down on my break to buy them out I was told they do not sale to the public just to the Emergency Department because of how bad the smells can be. So what do I do go to Amazom and woala!! My go to place had it and was able to sent me it in days. I still cannot believe how powerful with just a few drops and even after touching the bottle I rub my neck and it's like a menthol massage. I LOVE LOVE THIS! IT is better than any essential oil out there even that popular one Doatterra or what ever its called. I rarely write reviews unless I am impressed beyond. If you are not impressed I will personally apologize . Worth every penny o ly need a drop!!

Love it!
Exactly what I was looking for. Tastes wonderful and also works to refresh my peppermint candles.

It's good!
This is great stuff, but there's a few things you might want to consider: firstly, and I don't know if this applies to larger bottles of the product, the dram size that I bought had no orifice reducer and this is extremely potent mint. You'll be much more satisfied with the product if before you buy it, you look for some disposable plastic micro pipettes (usually for science experiments, but, you know, cooking is a bit like that anyway!) and then use those to distribute the oil. Also, and this is probably obvious to many people, but the product can't simply be effectively stirred into water or any liquid based on water. It is not soluble in it. Depending on what you're trying to achieve, you can just vigorously stir it into your glass or blend it with liquid in the blender if you're making something to settle your stomach or maybe an iced tea recipe, but if you're preparing something for other people you're trying to impress or for sale, that probably won't do. I haven't investigated it, but I'm guessing that the product is soluble in fats, and it may also be soluble in alcohol. The peppermint LorAnn variation is much more of a standard mint/ peppermint extract type than the brand's rayher "green tasting" spearmint oil, as might be expected by those who have compared peppermint with spearmint before. The two can also be combined for a more full kind of mint taste. Overall, it's a good product, but it's not as simple to use as you might have found extracts to be. It is free of alcohol and water though, which might be an advantage for some people and some food preparation situations, like chocolate making.

Strong stuff!
This is strong stuff! I've used it over the years for a variety of disparate jobs, from "de-smoking" an object which spent too much time around cigarette smokers, to chasing off mice which invaded a family car. It does the job.

Just what I needed
This is wonderful. It is ultra concentrated and I could smell it the second I opened the envelope it came in (be sure to keep the cap on tight if you have people who are sensitive to smells.) It is most definitely more economical compared to extract I'm thrilled because I only needed three drops to flavor my entire batch of ice cream as opposed to a teaspoon of extract. I will buy again, but that will be a long time from now because you need so little! :-) I'm looking forward to making all sorts of things with it now, like candy (peppermint bark) and I want to try making peppermint stick ice cream, something I never would have thought of before before trying this . One thing to be aware of, if you are looking for something more like a spearmint you really would be better off trying spearmint oil. Unlike the extracts I have tried you can actually taste the difference here. It has a sharper, peppery flavor- like peppermint! Also, it is potent so be careful to add it bit by bit and taste as you go along since you can always add more but you can't take it away once its in (get a dropper or a mini measuring spoon is my thought) and also hold it away from your nose if you want to sniff the bottle. Would recommend 100%.

Guter Geschmack, schlecht verpackt.
