However, with our family-friendly bowrider, I don't really have much of a realistic option of keeping full-size fishing poles on the boat. I decided to give this telescoping rod a try just for it's portability and compact size. Took it out on the boat today and it was perfect. My 7 year old son and I each caught two Porgies in about 20 minutes of fishing. I ordered a second one so we can fish at the same time next time instead of taking turns.Compared to normal fishing poles, this is probably a 2 star or a 3 star set.
