("thick", "good", "nice", "heavy", etc are not real answers).** A: Item description says 18/0. **Q: Will these hold up in a grill?** A: They are very nice, stainless steel and heavy duty. They should hold up just fine **Q: Are they dishwasher safe?** A: In the advertising it states that they need to be washed by hand to maintain the integrity of the stainless steel. I washed mine in the dishwasher and now all of this metally film appears on the metal and the stainless steel appears to be oxidized and discolored. I won't use them again.
