3M Littmann Classic II S.E. Stethoscope, Black Plated Chestpiece and Eartubes, Black Tube, 28 inch, 2218BE

I ordered this item in March of 2016. I haven't started using it until 2 days ago. I just opened box, and took it to work for the first time yesterday, but it is not at all in working order. I took it again to work with me today to see if I am just not having luck yesterday, and still I can't hear a thing when I used it today. Unfortunately, I am stuck with it because I can't return or exchange it anymore even if I just started using it

This thing was clearly previously used! Just because you wipe it down and put it in the original box doesn't mean you can sell it as "Brand New". The the diaphragm fell off with in 2 weeks of using it. I'm upset that my money was wasted...

OVERALL, not bad! Lately, i have been using my litman for performing assessments on patients and i'll have to say this litman gets the job done. I can reliably use my stethoscope for my job and as well as paramedic training. Recently, i was in the operating room performing intubations and when i assessed lung sounds it was phenomenal to hear everything so clearly. I haven't had any issues with this product and will recommend it as a easy buy for paramedics or nursing students. : )

I am a Registered Nurse and purchased this Stethoscope for my son's girlfriend who is starting Nursing School this fall. I have used Littman Stethoscopes since becoming a nurse and they are always reliable. Sounds are easy to pick up and are clear. I love the black on black color of this stethoscope.

Sure it's a bit pricey but it's a Littmann... Doesn't anything else need to be said?This stethoscope was recommended by my school, which I'm thankful for because with so many different kinds of stethoscopes out there, I wouldn't know how to pick one. I'm thankful I picked this one. Others in my classes have picked different branded, cheaper stethoscopes because they didn't want to pay that kind of money as a student but they are regretting it now. During clinicals, I'm not surprised if someone wants to borrow mine. I had to make sure that I labeled mine, just to make sure that it didn't grow legs and walk away.For students and professionals, I definitely recommend this stethoscope. It's a brand that's trusted and it's a great instrument to have.

We purchased this stethoscope to help us be confident with our son's breathing. Last year, he had bronchiollitis, pneumonia and multiple asthma attacks. I'm not a doctor, but had one show us the basis of how to listen. It is so reassuring to have on hand to save us a hospital trip, when we can listen and then administer a breathing treatment at home. The packaging is also great to protect it while stored away.

Littmann's are the best in the business in my opinion. I love this stethoscope, this is all we use at the Fire Department I work for. I bought this as a personal one to use at my other job with an ambulance service and I love it. It fits in my cargo pocket nicely and always give crisp clear sounds. Not to mention it looks pretty awesome with the blacked out color. Highly recommend!

Don't buy the lime green looks terrible after a while

It's much more comfortable to wear than the cheap stethoscope I had before, and the rotary joint on the chestpiece seals much better too, resulting in better sound. It's far from the best one you can buy, I'm told, but it's a good one. And of course, this one is very stylish.

does the job. Can't really find difference between Classic 2 and 3 so why not go for cheaper 2.

Bought it as a replacement for my old stethoscope. I have always owned Littmann steths which have never let me down. This model also looks better then the other same price steths. Bought it on amazon as it was cheaper then other medical websites. Very happy with this purchase

Good scope at good price.

What can I say it's a Littmann. Quality as you would expect and great at finding those faint heart and lung sounds.
