Works great for this life-time sleep apnea sufferer
I've had sleep apnea and the associated "horrific snoring" most of my life. I even had major reconstructive jaw surgery and septum repair for it 21 years ago, which helped a bit, but it is still a problem. When our local postmaster said a few weeks ago, "I got rid of my snoring problem . . . I divorced him", I panicked about my wife's lack of sleep and ordered this item. It was like a breath of fresh air - a full breath. I slept better, my wife slept better and we were all happy. Until it fell out one night and now I can't find the damn thing. It's not that small, but I'm afraid it may have been vacuumed up. So now I am ordering 3 more. Yes, they do fall out on occasion (there are large size ones - maybe that's what I need, but I'm addicted to my Amazon Prime free 2 day shipping, so I'll stick with this one), but they really work for me, so it's worth the risk. By the way, I find that I also breath better in general both at night and during the day, even when I am not wearing this product. It could be that the expansion lasts a while. I've been missing mine for about 3 days and my breathing is beginning to deteriorate.

Bought several in nose devices, this is the second best so far.
Several weeks ago I decided I was frustrated by the stick on strips and wanted to try the in nose variety. I purchased several, and started testing. One just plain was too small even at one size fits all (adjustable). One other worked OK, but irritated my septum, so I would only be able to wear it from time to time. The 'Nozovent', just slightly irritates the outer inside of my nostrils, but not to such an extent that I cannot wear it nightly, but such that some mornings it is a bit sensitive, it does not touch my septum. I have been using it almost nightly for over a week, I wash it carefully every morning and return it to storage container. It seems to be a little less springy after use, and the container seems to restore that. The initial fit is just fine, the first few minutes of wearing it it is noticeably there but not painful. It feels as though it could pop out of one of my nostrils, but every morning it has been still in place just fine. I don't feel as though it opens my airways as much as the stick on strip do, one reason being that it seems to sit closer to the opening of my nose. Some of the other tested types protruded deeper into my nose and seemed to open better, but the irritation was too much. Luckily, it opens my nose sufficient that it will do for now, but if my airways were worse I would be concerned. I have noted that when I wake in the mornings, my airways are very open, where as when I just put the device in my breathing is not as easy. EDIT - 2014-12-19 I have used this on and off for several months now, I found it not as effective as my now favorite and found that after several nights of use it sometimes irritated my nose, and the springiness was reduced, so not as effective. Still a 4 star product, and will use from time to time.

Does not fit small noses
For someone with very small nostrils, this one does not fit. The oblong parts on the end are too big to fit in nostrils. I cut them down so they would fit. The outward pressure is pretty strong, but it centers on the little nubs, and isnt distributed evenly. However, I could see how this would work great for someone with bigger nostrils. I also got AirWay II which worked better, but was also too large.

Horrific - A Nightmare Torture Device!
First off, a little background - 66 years old and have been using two Breathe-Rite strips nightly for years and years; in fact, since they first came out. My nostrils seem to be "medium" in size for the record. I recently decided to try some "in the nostrils" alternatives to the Breathe-Rite strips, as I'm finding that my skin isn't as tough as it used to be - I've been seeing some redness after removing the Breathe-Rite strips in the AM. The Nozovent product is the last in a long line of this in the nose product that I'm evaluating, so I'm no stranger anymore to sticking these things up into my nostrils. After a half dozen "installations" of this product, each and every install resulting in significant pain and multiple sneezing fits, back in the box this thing went! I honestly don't know what human being could use this conveyance; it seems more suited to a consenting farm animal. Maybe if I was from Scandinavia instead of being a dirty Hungarian gypsy, then this thing would work. The (sour) cherry on this sundae - No Return, No Refund! I guess I've got a $10.00 plastic case that I can put SOMETHING else in, since this torture device is going into the trash!

No tape => no stay in nose
I've tried more than one product that is stuck in the nose. I've learned that none of the current products stay in the nose. If they were designed with a shape that provided for being taped onto the nose e.g., with paper athletic tape, then they might stay in the nose. This product doesn't stay in the nose overnight because one roll and it gets brushed right out.

Really opens the nostrils without irritating septum
I have a deviated septum and have tried just about every nostril expander/dilator device available to get more air while sleeping, some of the material is soft, some hard, some are just plain bad design... some even fall out at night and are still missing (!)... most of them are "cones" that just expand your nostril to the shape of the device and some are horseshoe shaped with little expander pieces, which is fine but most of them come into contact with the entire inside of the nostril... because of this they tend irritate my nostril after a few nights especially my septum which can get really sore.... and then i can't wear it for a while to let my septum heal. But this device is so simple, only two little pads sit inside the nostrils, and only contact a small area of the nostril... because of it's spring-like action it gently "pushes out" on the nostrils without touching or contacting my septum. The spring-like section sits outside/below the nostril but doesn't seem to get in the way or fall out at night, it seems to stay in quite well. So far it is the best option I have found. The worst part is the weird looks I get from the kids :P

Works really well.
Works really well. If I can't get to sleep I pop it in and have instant relief. Sometimes I have to get the little points sitting just right, and sometimes in the morning the tip of my nose is a little sore. I think they could the refine the projections for more comfort, but for my purposes of just getting to sleep, they're fine. No, they're great!

This works
This device actually works. I haven't been able to breathe out of my right nostril for years, but this opens it right up. It does stop my snoring but it tends to fall out in my sleep. I still recommend it though.
