Home/Personal Compact Digital Blood Pressure Monitor & Cuff, Stores 60 Readings Each for 2 People, uses 4 AAA's, by VIVE
This is an extremely compact and easy to use digital home BP monitor. I've had several OMRON brand monitors in the past, and the operation of this VIVE monitor is very similar. If you've never used a BP monitor before, relax, these are really very easy to operate. The instructions (included) are very easy to follow, even for those who are just using a BP monitor for the first time. The LCD display has large numerals and is very easy to read. Controls are simple and clearly marked. The unit case is white plastic, easy to see and locate in a darkened bedroom. Workmanship and build quality seems fine. Everything connects easily and works as it should. The unit uses 4 AAA batteries, and these are easy to change. Battery life is good, you won't need to change them very often. A nice feature of this VIVE unit is that it has memory and can record and store up to 60 previous readings for comparison and tracking a trend. The playback function is easy to use. Better yet, this unit can store 2 separate histories, each with up to 60 stored readings, so two people can share the same unit and still keep their histories separate. As the Amazon photo shows, the BP cuff has easy to follow illustrated directions printed directly on the cuff. The maker has included every feature I can imagine to make this simple, self-explanatory and easy to use. This is an easy unit to use on yourself, by yourself and unassisted. Sample sent for testing and impartial review. This is a very good home BP kit, and small enough to be very easily portable for travel. I'm impressed at how much these units have improved since the first home BP units were introduced many years ago. If you have BP concerns, I believe this unit from VIVE is a good choice. VIVE also offers a number of home-health products, you can see them all by clicking their Seller name at the top of this listing. I have several VIVE products, and they have all been good quality. I hope this review is helpful as you comparison shop personal BP kits online. Lots of models, sellers and choices out there to choose from! Stay active and stay healthy, everybody.

Health-itโs all in the numbers.
Works like a charm for years as long as you keep batteries on hand. Seems to be accurate and at least itโs gotten me to check my vitals daily.

Excellent home BP cuff
Never thought I'd need to monitor my BP, but here we are. I purchased this based on a friend's rec and am very happy with it. Ease of use right out of the box is great. Read the instructions on how to set the time/date so you can best track your readings from the get-go. I've found this to be very accurate as I work with my doc to get my BP sorted. It's great because I take it to my visits and can click through my BP reading history and they really appreciate that. Only feature I would suggest - to be able to delete certain readings without deleting 'all', in case I feel a reading isn't quite right or I repeat it to make sure. Would also be nice to have a QR code and wifi connectivity to help with tracking, likely a feature to be found in a unit at a higher price point, but something to consider when looking for a device. Overall happy with this product quality, features and accuracy.

Best bp cuff I've ever used from an RN
I've been an RN for over twenty years and used a lot of blood pressure cuffs. My patients are commonly elderly with heart problems and poor circulation. This is by far the best cuff I've ever used. I used to swear by Omron but still had difficulty with certain patients getting accurate readings despite having used various models over the years, both wrist and arm. This cuff always gets a reliable reading the first time even on my patients who are difficult to obtain one on. It also has a roomy cuff circumference so I can use it on bariatric patients even. I've been able to obtain blood pressures from legs just as easily. After getting my nursing bag stolen 3 times in 2 months I just couldn't justify spending the amount of money required for another Omron so I took a chance on this one based on the reviews. I won't go so far as to say getting my bag stolen was a blessing in disguise since I found this cuff because of it since I still need to replace my car window BUT it was the one positive outcome. It's much lighter weight than my previous ones, has irregular heartbeat indicator, memory and very easy to read and use! I highly recommend this cuff for anyone!

Easy To Use and Fast To Learn
Works great, really easy to set up and understand how to use. Being my upper arm is real big from being overweight I have had issues with getting an accurate reading, I am going to have some one help me do it for I position the cuff but the upper part cannot close as tight as the lower part and is either too loose or too tight once reading has started. I still like it very much for there is nothing else I can use unless I would have went with a wrist one and feel I can get a more accurate reading having on the upper arm. The batteries went dead fast so will buy my own and sure will last a lot longer then the ones with it. The reading light is very good, easy to read and large letters and numbers. I have had no problems with it and have seen very good reviews on this more then any of the others with a large cuff. Delivery was fast and the box was heavy duty with info and warranty in it, I keep mine setting in the box when not in use. Highly recommend this to all to buy.

Superior quality at an affordable price!!
This is very compact but the back light makes it very easy to read in any light. We had a bp cuff for years that we bought from cvs, but after 2 years of use it developed a little hole in the hose. It was good but this one is much easier. Lining up the main vein is easier, it doesn't squeeze the heck out of you and count down it counts up and gives results on half the time This is great for us because we need to check our bp daily due to medications and stroke history. This was no more than the one I bought from cvs but it is much better. Using amazon prime without shopping cost saved us even more. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to keep track of their bp for medical or even family history reasons.

Inaccurate, NO calibration inst. provided. UPDATE: Working w/seller to resolve this issue, stay tuned!
At first I was impressed by the ease of use. This thing is very simple. READ the manual tho. You have to do that, there are a few things you need to know, but when you do, it's very easy to use. Unfortunately, the accuracy is entirely too far off. I took this thing along to my doctor's office at my next appt. and compared it -five times- to their calibrated and certified accurate BP machines. This thing was always reading 15% to 20% low. I could have excused 2%, maybe even 3% inaccuracy, but this thing's digital like the one in the doc's orifice, and it's made with virtually the same components. I don"t believe this device was individually calibrated to any sort of standard before packaging, and nowhere in the manual do I find any calibration info or instructions. This to me is a glaring oversight. A medical product, even a cheap one, should meet a minimum standard and provide both evidence of calibration and instruction for user calibration to a known standard, like the certified calibrated machines in your doctor's orifice. They should calibrate these carefully before packaging and indicate in the Amazon info that this is done. I'd easily have paid a lilbit more $ for one of these that has been factory calibrated to +/- 1%-2% accuracy. I feel that's a reasonable expectation for the item and the price paid. Given the inaccuracy of this thing, the lack of any sort of calibration instructions, and the price asked, I rate this one star. UPDATE 1- I received a message from the seller, they sent another unit and advised I can keep the old one. The new unit readings are a bit more varied than the first one. That first one read consistently low, though varied. The new one reads high, and a lilbit more varied. I opened the old one, and after careful examination I find no adjustable components inside. There's no variable caps or trimmer pots, nothing I can find/change/adjust to bring it's innards any closer to being accurate. The fire department nearby was happy to help me compare the thing to theirs, more time to devote to me than my doc's orifice will. We spent a couple of hours testing it against their own BP devices. Our methodology covered the reasonable comparisons, and we just found this thing lacking credibility. Our conclusion(s)... If you want to determine that you have blood pressure, this device will competently do that. If you're seeking a reasonable degree of accuracy, it will not. FWIW, they've had a few others bring their consumer-grade BP devices in to test, and some are better, some worse. Your mileage may vary. UPDATE 2- I've received further words from the seller. They emailed me with a link to contact them. I would have already done so, but unfortunately, the provided link was truncated, ending in ...'s, making it useless. Dagnabbit. Dear seller, if you have news I can use, please contact me again. Include a COMPLETE link or email address, and verify it's complete and working before sending it to me. I'd provide you my direct email, but I can't do that -here-, sorry. I'm happy to work with you to solve this problem, maybe together we can fix this accuracy issue, maybe even make YOUR BP machine the most accurate consumer-grade BP device on Amazon. I'll rewrite this entire review to reflect this issue, and its resolution if possible. It's in everyone's best interest for me to be fair and honest, and so far you(seller) have also tried to do that. Thanks for being interested/involved in fixing this, for me and for all others with HBP.
