A great product from a very customer-centric vendor. Works like a charm, without any hassle. If you have an EV, that is the simplest solution to charge your vehicle. Comes with options, including various connectors and adjustable lengths. My dryer outlet is far from the parking area, so I researched everywhere to find an extended wire charger. I came across this listing and ordered the 50-foot one. Always responsive and great customer service. Highly recommended product.

The charger is great! Shipping was spot on!! Mounted to the wall easily. I purchase a plug holder to secure and protect the plug. It functions great, the charge data is displayed after the charge telling you the amount of power and time used to complete the charge. After learning how to use the charging scheduler on my new RAV4 Prime I plug it in early evening and set it to be finished when I am ready to leave! In the morning I record the time and KWH's used before I unplug it so I can calculate my charging costs! I was concerned that the charger was using power while idle so I contacted the product support and they responded right away telling me that it uses very little power when idle less than a single light bulb uses in a year. Several times I have experienced a trouble code (red light) after a minor power outage, the charger said a ground fault was detected. I reset breaker and have not had any problems!! Great charger!!

After buying my new EV car I was concerned as I couldn’t find near me the super charger and whatever I found on my way home from work was always occupied. So I found this charger on Amazon and couldn’t be more happy because now I sit in the car every morning with full battery. I use my dryer outlet. It is not very quick with capabilities of the electrical system in my home but I did not change anything in the electrical system and saved a lot of money. Thank you for your product. Customer service is great. Any question that arose before I purchased this product was answered immediately!.

This charger works great for my Tesla Model 3 (using the J1772 adapter). I purchased the 6-20 NEMA with a 50 foot cord. My car charges at 240v 16a, adding about 14-15 miles per hour. The 50 foot cord allows me to reach multiple parking spots in my driveway and garage. The cord is much, much longer than the Tesla mobile charger cord. The cord does not get warm during charging — seems to be high quality. 240v 16a isn’t the fastest, but it’s more than enough to get a full charge overnight. I like that the power cord has a twist lock so that I could swap plugs if needed. Great charger overall.

Based on the product description, this should have worked for my Toyota RAV4 Prime. Unfortunately, the J1772 connector will not attach to the vehicle's charging port. I called Primecom.Tech, and the guy who answered the phone claimed the pins in the charging port of the RAV4 Prime were slightly thicker than those on standard ports that take J1772 connectors. I found that claim dubious, as I have had no problem with using public charging stations (those connectors attach just as easily as the one that came with my vehicle). Anyhow, he said the company obtained some connectors from the same manufacturer in Korea that supplied Toyota with parts, and he would send me a replacement unit made with one of those connectors. After a second phone call, several text messages, and almost two weeks of wasted time, I did not receive a replacement unit, and the guy did not respond to my two text messages asking for a shipment tracking number (so much for his claim that it would take longer to do an exchange through Amazon). I ended up returning the unit for a refund through Amazon and buying a different brand (which BTW fit my vehicle's charging port).

I ordered this because I was new to the EV world and it seemed a good value for the money. That being said: it works just fine, there is nothing wrong with it BUT it is just 16 AMPs. It takes 5 hours for my Pacifica to bring it to a full charge. With the 30 mile range I have, I need to recharge it FASTER. Here is the thing: I drop my son at preschool 8:30 in the morning and pick him up 12:30 and it is 24 mile round trip, so when I am back around 9 I need to charge it within 3 hours. With the 16 AMP that just doesn't work for me.... After 2 weeks, I ended up buying a 32 AMP charger and its works really great. It brings it to a full charge from 0% to 100% in a bit more than 2 hours. Conclusion: If you are not in a hurry and just charge overnight, this charger does a great job. If you need FAST charging, stay away from it.

UPDATE: My charger stopped working so I called Primecon and they quickly diagnosed that my locking hook was slightly bent (I did drop it a couple times) and provided clear instructions on how to bend it back. Within minutes it was working again. 3 years and still working! I didn't want to hire an electrician and this charger is the perfect solution. I have a gas dryer and wasn't using the 220 outlet but it's more than the standard 20' away. This 50' cord allows me to plug it in with enough length to reach the vehicle connection. I bought a wall hose bracket to hang the cord when not in use. Remember to not keep it coiled when plugged into the vehicle. From my initial tests this new charger fills the battery in a quarter of the amount of time as the factory charger. Highly recommend!

I've read a lot of the Q&A's about people asking - will it work on this or that vehicle and how long will it take to charge. It's simple folks. It will charge approximately twice as fast as the standard EVSE that plugs up to your standard household outlet that comes with the car and it is almost half the speed of the J plugs at public charge stations. It's more than adequate for quickly charging up your EV overnight at your house. If you have a 220/240 volt outlet or Dryer or Stove outlet near where you park your car, you can't beat this EVSE! I had an electric stove that I replaced with a gas stove, and that left me with a 220 volt outlet, where I simply plugged this EVSE into and fortunately, my kitchen is near my driveway. I ran the cord down through the floor and out to the driveway and I'm set. This EVSE performs perfectly! It will work with ANY car that supports the standard J1772 plug. I have a 2016 Nissan Leaf. I highly recommend this product.
