My husband and I wanted to try out this protein mix. It is loaded with protein! I think you probably just need one scoop. If you use two full scoops you are going to have a very thick protein shake. Which may be what you are looking for if you are wanting to increase your protein intake or if you are a guy. As far as the taste goes, this is a chocolate flavor. The texture is very smooth which is nice, but again we only used one scoop instead of two scoops, so I can only comment about the one scoop scenario. My husband loved the flavor, he really liked it! However I really thought the sweetness was over powering and thought it was too sweet. I know thats an odd complaint, but it was too over powering for me. Maybe you will like it! I just let me husband have it! Overall I think the nutritional benefits for this shake are really good. This protein shake is jam packed with tons of vitamins and supplements. As far a competitors go, I think this nutritional protein meal really does a great job about adding lots of health benefits besides just protein. Also with the total calorie count adding up to about 290 calories, I think this is a great shake for anyone looking to lose weight. Or maintain a healthy weight. We looked into getting this protein shake after we didn't want to pay the outrageous price for beach body shakeology anymore. After reading about different products and all of their reviews, we thought it this product would do the trick! And it does if you can get past the sweetness. I think this is a great shake and its definitely great value and quality.

Delicious! Like a Wendy's Frosty! This seriously is as good as a Wendy's Frosty, like a melty drinkable frosty at least :) As a meal replacement, I usually make this with 1 scoop (the package calls for two), a banana (frozen preferred), some fresh pb or pb powder (that I bought from the bulk section of a local grocery much cheaper than on Amazon), 4-5 ice cubes, and 8-12 oz of water or unsweetened almond milk. I also add it either Chia seed gel that I have made, or add a tbsp of dry chia seeds and let those soak in the almond milk for 5 minutes. Makes the shake nice and thick. MMM. So good. For a healthier nighttime snack, I made the shake with only unsweetened vanilla almond milk, ice cubes (necessary to make it frosty like) and 1 scoop of this chocolate protein powder, and it is sooo good. I actually usually make this to help with my chocolate cravings instead of a brownie, cake, or chocolate :) It really is that good. Now, you should know that I was using Shakeology for the past month, so I am used to the Protein Shake taste. It was a little strange at first, but didn't take too long to get used to. As this is my second protein product to try, I am not an official by any means. But I can't think of a reason to change from Labrada. I want to try cinnamon bun next, sounds good! So if you are looking for yumminess, THIS is your shake!

So I bought this as a meal replacement but when the product arrived it actually says that it’s a protein shake, either way it’s only like a 40cal difference from the meal replacement product but has mostly all the same vitamins and minerals. It’s definitely still thick so it’s very filling and and curb your hunger. It does what it’s says and it’s healthy and won’t leave you hungry so it’s a win/win all around.

I like how easy this is to use--mixes easily with just a blender bottle. I was disappointed in the chocolate flavor as I found it terribly sweet and artificial tasting. From other reviews, I expected it to taste like an actual milkshake not a shake made by Dow Chemical. To make it more bearable I tried using a smaller amount and also tried mixing with milk and coffee, which tasted worse. Then I threw some into a blender with a cup of raspberries which was delicious and filling. To tolerate it at lunch time, I add some PB2 powdered peanut butter and that cuts the artificial sweetness. I haven't used it consistently, so I haven't lost weight but I haven't gained any more weight either, and I've noticed that when I use it I overeat less at night (I think because I'm getting a lot of protein during the day). I also haven't been exercising due to illness and frigid outdoor temps, so I expect my weight will start to drop when I can resume working out. I was disappointed to have to take the extra step of using a blender to add berries and make it palatable (which is really inconvenient in the morning), but I started blending berries and water ahead of time and later combining this with the powder in a blender bottle--it mixes REALLY easily and smoothly even into this gloppy fruit puree. I'm going to try other flavors and hopefully one of them will be to my liking so that I can more easily and conveniently just 'grab and go' in the morning.

Mixes easy, taste good and travel convenient as long as you’re not over weight on luggage.

I only gave it 3 stars because I was very disappointed on the false advertisement. The bottle looks like if it was a very decent size but when it arrived, it was only 65% Full. BUYERS BEWARE!!! Also take into account that if you take as directed on the instructions this product will only last two weeks or so. To spend $35 dollars every 2 weeks it's just gets too expensive. Other than that, it is the best tasting protein out there plus it wont give you any bloating like the other proteins do. Would I buy this product again??? NO, not until they start changing their standards on filling up their bottles to at least 90%, then I would order it by big quantities.

Highly recommended. I almost never write reviews, but this product was such a pleasant surprise that I feel compelled to make an exception. I am doing one of Beachbody programs and was looking for the alternative to their very expensive Shakology products. After some online research, I found a suggestion for Labrada Nutrition Lean Body, which is less than one-third the price of Shakology, and decided to take a shot. It turns out that Lean Body is delicious, filling and gets great results. It's fine-tasting plain. But one scoop plus a cup of almond (or other) milk and a cup of fresh berries blended with ice is absolutely delicious. I'd drink it as a treat even if I wasn't looking for a protein shake. In fact, I had to reorder sooner than planned because my 21 year-old-son has also take a liking to it. I have a Lean Body shake for lunch and I am good to go until dinner. Lean Body might not have all the super foods claimed by Shakology. But the price, quality and results add up to an excellent value. Highly recommended.

Labrada Lean Body This stuff is rocking my world! It got me off sugar & Dr Pepper (caffeine) and has drastically helped me with my habit energy of overeating. I haven't really had much withdrawal symptoms, if any. But I started out drinking this every two hours. I did that for a few days. And I don't do the serving size of 2 scoops. I just use 1 scoop in water. It's too thick for me with 2 scoops. I've been on this about a week. The last couple of days I only used 2 scoops for the whole day. I have been sleeping deep and have more energy than I've had in a very long time! My calories went from several thousand a day down to 1,000 to 15,000. The last 2 days it's been closer to 1,000. So... that's my impression after week one. $42 at my local grocery store and only $30 at Amazon (free shipping cuz I have Prime).

Great tasting and thick even with water.

Great for the meal replace for weight loss but keep increases my body fat.

this is one of the best proteins I’ve tried because the taste is good and it’s pretty nutritious and as a someone who struggles with having the needed calories per day this supplement is perfect since it covers my needs. I also received the order before the assumed arrival date.👍🏼

Good product, taste is pretty good and mixes easily in water. Depending on my appetite sometimes this shake keeps me full for hours, other times I need more food. (I do eat a LOT) I do recommend this product also seller was quick to deliver product.
