D10170248 Krytox by Chemours GPL 205 Grease, Pure PFPE/PTFE, 0.5 oz Tube

Though the grease is pricey the results speak for themselves. The was mentioned by name in a TSB from Ford for maintaining the sun/moon roof seal. I tried other silicones recommended by shade tree mechanics with substandard results. Clean your old seal with rubbing alcohol and clean rag before applying the grease and you all set. Window glides with no bindings and seals back up just fine. Prior to using the grease my window would stick, not open and close all the way. When the window would not close all the way it was prone to leaking as expected. I would buy this again. The little tube when used sparingly can complete two windows. Youn only need a thin coating to get the job done. *Remember to clean the old seal before applying. *

Silenced all of the seals in my Ford Bronco. After a year or so, my Bronco started squeaking and creaking over any bumps while on the 4x4 trail, driveways etc. After a bit of reading this was the choice for fixing that. I wiped the seals with isopropyl alcohol, waited a few minutes for it to flash off, and then applied this. A little goes a long way but you want to apply enough to coat the entire EPDM seal. I used rubber gloves to apply. Completely silent after, and since this stuff is essentially inert it does not fade in effectiveness over time. 10/10

It works, but yikes is it expensive!

Used this grease to stop my sunroof from sticking when trying to open. Apply on the seal all around & now sunroof opens smoothly.

I used this to lubricate the seal on my 2015 F150 sunroof, which was sticking and causing damage to the plastic sunroof components. Once I lubed the spot that was sticking toward the back of the glass, all the stickiness went away and the sunroof opened better than ever (after I replaced the broken plastic bits that is). Expensive, but worth it. You don't need very much. I keep the tube in my truck and hit the sunroof with a little bead a few times a year.

I was looking for Krytox 205g0, but I have had the hardest time finding it, so I decided to give this 205g2 a try. I used these to lubricate Cherry Silent Reds, aka Pinks. If you all are familiar with Cherry switches, they are VERY scratchy. And with the Silent Reds, the scratchy sound is very pronounced because the rest of the switch is so quiet. Not only can you hear the scratch, but you can actually feel it through your fingertips. Since this is 205g2 and a lot thicker than 205g0, I decided to be VERY conservative in my application. For perspective, 205g2 has a consistency/viscosity akin to Neosporin on a cold morning. I got the 0.5 oz tube. After fully lubricating my 60% keyboard, I used maybe 0.1oz. Yes, I still have more than 80% of the tube remaining. How I applied the lube? I used a fine brush. I put enough lubricant on the brush to get the brush shiny, with no lubricant visible other than the sheen of the brush. I brushed the base rails and spring holder. I brushed the spring. I brushed the stem rails and switch actuator prongs. So what were the results? Simply Amazing! This is now the quietest keyboard I have ever used. Every once in a while, I hear a very subtle thock every once in a while when I bottom out a key, especially the space bar. But the thock is subdued by the Silent Reds, and it's such a pleasing sound...think ASMR. The biggest concern I had with using this lubricant was that the keys would become sluggish, as it is thicker than I wanted. With my very conservative application, I am experience no sluggishness or resistance. Keys are popping back up as fast as I need them to, and there is no mushiness. From one keyboard enthusiast who used a VERY conservative amount of this lubricant on my Cherry Silent Reds(pink) switches, I can tell you...get this lubricant if you are needing some high quality dielectric lubricant for your switches. I am confident that I could lubricate FIVE 60% keyboards with just a 0.5 oz tube. That's 4 dollars of lubricant per keyboard at current prices. Well worth it in my opinion. I couldn't be happier. I am currently using my freshly lubricated keyboard to write this review, and I have never been so satisfied typing.

Bought this for a sticking sun roof on a 2015 ford f150. Now it’s working like new. If yours is sticking this stuff works amazing.

Soo.. as someone mentioned above this is krytox205g2 it's the best lube ever it's really THOCK so much smooth and sounds so good and as most people recommend kyrtox205g0 but on my opinion i see this is the best lube ever and you must give it a try you will love it Note: if you gonna lube with this lube just make sure to not leave any whiteness on the bottom housing and the stim as well and you will get the best sound ever 😍
