Rockport Men's City Smart Plain Toe Oxford Shoes

I have only been using them for a few days and that is something you should take into account while reading my review (hopefully I will give an update later on how those shoes have been performing after more use). As I expected from a pair of Rockports, they are are very comfortable. Even thought the insoles are not for hiking, they are comfortable enough so as to use the shoes all day long without problems. The leather feels somewhat thick and flexible and the normal wrinkles that appear after some use are less noticeable than in many other shoes I have had. Likewise, the rubber soles do not squeak on most floors.Now, besides the trademark, I ordered them because I wanted a pair of oxfords shiny enough to use them with formal trousers and suits. Nevertheless, when they arrived I realized that they are less shiny in reality than they appear in the pictures and that is the reason why I am not giving them 5 stars (although that is not a fault of the shoes themselves). I guess that is not a big problema for a lot of people, but anyway, it is good to bear that in mind. Other than that, I think they are a very wise buy.

These are great feeling and looking shoes, right out of the box. I am a Rockport fan, although recently have had some trouble finding the styles I like that will replace my old faithfuls that are finally wearing out. I am on my feet all day, and Rockport has always been a super comfortable, supportive shoe, and in this style at least, continues to do so. They are wearing well after a few months, so all is good there. I would recommend these in a heartbeat.

The shoes that I received were clearly used. The uppers were scuffed and visibly creased and the heels and soles showed signs of wear. I clicked on 'Fit as expected' only for the purpose of starting this review. There is no chance I was going to put my feet into these shoes.

The vamp is tighter than other size 9 shoes I've bought, even after wearing them for a couple days. The right shoe loosens up more than the left.they look nice and are comfortable with the Adiprene insert. I plan to buy 9.5 or 10 size next time.

Too small & too narrow. Ordered size based on current dress shoes. Based on past experience, I know that the next larger size & width will be too large & too wide.So I returned the shoes. Too bad because I really liked their look. And the price was good. Oh, well...

Bought it for my father in law. Good quality and the sole looks to be very comfortable. Unfortunately tight at the toes.

I like the shoes, good inner and outside. I have wear this shoes to work for days, the only problem of this shoes is that the breath system was not as good as it described in its introduction, my feet felt really hot and humid!Anyway, the quality was really good, and the price was also affordable to me.
