Ladies Starter LowRise Pull-On Knee Patch Breeches

Order one size smaller than jean size! I just bought a pair of Lucky Jeans (size 31), or 12. According to the TuffRider size chart, however, I would have been a size 36! So, I was going to order a 34 based on reviews that these ran large. Another review said to order smaller than pant size at home and so I reluctantly ordered a size 30. They fit perfectly!I have not ridden in them yet, but for $35 breeches, these are perfect for everyday schooling - not showing. I don't know how long they will hold up, but seem to be what I need to get the job done for weekly classes. I gave this product four stars because they were starting to cook my legs after a few minutes of trying them on; not flannel-thermal wear warm, but warmer than a pair of jeans I think. In southern California, that will get warm really fast. These would probably be perfect for northern climates.It's a bargain product with sythetic suede stitched onto the knees in an efficient manner, so it's not accurate to compare them to traditional breaches that run for $100 and up. Again, though, glad to have found these. If they hold up in washing, and do not get too warm while riding, I will happily order a few more pairs in other colors.

These breeches are amazing! I bought my first pair in the dark brown, lava color as my first pair of breeches when I was starting out. I ordered them in a 30 and they are still great! I just have lost a little bit of weight so they are now a bit loose around the waist but I still wear them! My only complaint is that the brown ones didn't have a sock bottom, they had a Velcro strap but that wasn't a big deal and they are still very comfortable. These I ordered about a month ago in black 28 (I am 5'4 and weigh 135-140 lbs) and they are also awesome! They do have the sock bottom and are super comfortable. I wear them all the time and they are holding up great! I have used the brown ones for about a year now and they are still going strong! Amazing breeches for the price! Not the best for super hot or super cold weather but perfect for casual everyday use.

They seem to be well made. I like the material. BUT, when they say low rise, they aren’t joking. I’m a very petite person and I feel like these give me two options. Plumber’s crack, or wedgey. I’ll definitely be wearing a long shirt. If I felt like dealing with returns, I’d problem return them and get something mid or high rise. But I suppose these will work.

These are so much better than I was expecting! First, the quality is awesome. They're a nice thick (but not too bulky) material that feels much more sturdy than my old schooling breeches. They're so stretchy and comfortable that I wouldn't mind wearing them around my house all day. They are lower rise, so don't expect them to come above the hips, but I found that they're super comfortable with a belt and stay up fine. They are a flattering cut and look very nice on.The only slightly negative thing is they are cut a little wider around the lower leg and calf, so if you have small legs you may get some bunching around the knee when riding. They are also longer than I'm used to. I'm 5'3" and they come down to my heel. My other schooling breeches stop midway down my calf.If you think you're in between sizes, go with the smaller size! I was iffy on size and went with the smaller one and I'm glad I did! If I'd gone up I think they would be too loose. They have plenty of stretch so don't worry about that.Overall, GREAT breeches for the price! They seem well-made and feel amazing to wear.

This is the first time I've purchased breeches so I don't have much to compare it by, however, I am normally a 34 but this 34 fits like a 36 or a very loose 34 at the waist. The length is great, and the material is comfortable. We'll see how it feels when I'm on the horse.

After receiving these breeches, I immediately went out to try them. I found them to help with my new, slippery saddle - I wasn't having as hard of a time posting a trot or cantering. They do still slip a little bit but I wasn't expecting them to grip the saddle like glue! I didn't see any problem with quality, either. These are super comfortable to wear when riding or doing barn chores.I bought these in size 24, light tan color. I am a very petite lady at 5'4", roughly 94lbs. I am what you would call a stick figure. I was concerned that these breeches may be baggy in areas but they were not. They fit -perfectly-. They are not skin tight so it's easy to move in them but they're also not loose where I'm swimming in them. They are the perfect fit. I was quite pleased!Do take note: These breeches are extremely warm even though they are not very thick. I'd suggest them for a late fall/winter breech. I wore them in 50-ish degree spring weather and felt them to be almost too warm!Overall, I recommend this product!

I ordered these in April and received a high quality pair of 34 breeches with gray elastic band, 96% cotton. Loved them.Have lost weight so re-ordered in a size 32. Different breeches. NO smooth, seam free gray internal waistband, 95% cotton...the fit isn't as comfortable because the exposed seams at the waist dig. Hate them.I asked for replacements..Hopefully the advertised pair will be shipped.

These are excellent breeches for everyday use. Fabric is soft and has some stretch to it to make them comfortable. For my two daughter's, these did run a bit big. Their show breeches are Ovation size 28 yet in these the waist is too big and after wearing them for an hour they stretched quite a bit. Reordered in size 26 and they should fit them better. Would still highly recommend these pants, you may want to size down.Edit: These Breeches are more like yoga pants than the traditional stiffer breeches my kids wear showing. My girls like these because they're softer and much more flexible which means they're very comfortable. Not sure you would want these for showing in as they are a knit fabric but my girls love these for everyday riding and especially for the flexibility when jumping.We did reorder size 26 and they fit much better. My girls both wear a size 3 in jeans or a size 24 in jeans.

I am not a yoga pants person. Ironically, they aren't worn about town by the mellow, zen yoga people. They are worn by the mean girls from school who turned into the judgemental soccer moms of suburbia who cast aspersions at people like me. I enjoy black and white photos of old and it seemed that people of the past could be casual but pulled together. Audrey had her capris and Jackie had her riding pants. I like flat shoes and boots. I don't want jeans or pants that require Sunset Strip heals. These pants are great. They are comfortable and the colour will compliment a white shirt in the summer or my usual black. The side seams are well stitched and there are belt loops. The length was a perfect fit. And yes, mean- yoga- pants -women, the size 26 manages to hold this lumpen (very lumpy) proletariat in hand. I recommend these.

I am 5'9" and approximately 190 lbs. I ordered the 34. They arrived today and they fit perfect in both length and waist when I tried them on. I have not worn them all day yet so, I don't know if they will stretch out too much and I have not washed them so I don't know if they will shrink. If there are any changes I will update this review. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with my purchase and will consider buying another pair if they withstand wash and wear.

I ordered a 34 regular in black. I'm 5'9" and they're about 3 inches too long. They fit a bit big but I think a 32 would give me muffin top which isn't a look I go for.Nice quality for the price. I've had a grey pair of these for almost a year, worn for chores and riding at least 3 days a week, and they're holding up well.

They are very comfortable, fit a bit on the large size which is better than too small. Satisfied.

American sizing , correct fit. Knee patches for grip, not full seat. Good jumper breech.
