My hair would grow then break off. So bought the pills so I could see how fast my hair would grow healthy without breaking off. Before, I had a lot of shedding on the floor, on the back of my shirt, on the bathroom sink, on my pillow, etc. I do not have this problem any longer! I am not just saying this but it feels as if each time I wash my hair, it is longer each time I finish blow drying it! I love it! Oh, I now have to cut my nails weekly because they grow out so fast. This product to me was worth the money! My length now is at the top of the arm pit. I no longer where wigs. I now mainly cowash (conditioner only wash) my hair every 2 days and shampoo/deep conditioner twice a month. I only blow dry my hair and use low heat to flat iron it after my wash days so it can get straight. I use satin rollers to give a roller wrap look daily. I believe this regimen and the vitamins are helping my hair to stay healthy. I can now where a high pony tail and the tail is at my shoulder. Sorry this is long but I wanted to help anyone who may have felt like I felt a few months ago with the shedding. Youtube hair journey postings helped me a lot as well. Good luck sista's! We can have beautiful, long and healthy hair too! April 2013 update: I should add one thing here....my face did not break out. I began using other products that worked as well however I had major acne which I did not have before or have when I used this product. My hair grew from shoulder length to arm pit length and then I chopped it all off. I will purchase this product today to get my hair the way I had it.

For those of us who don't have health insurance and can't easily gain access to health care providers like dermatologists who can test and prescribe the right product for us, it is tempting to try an item like Fast Grow. Because of its claims, Fast Grow pills seem like little hair growth miracles. But "buyer beware" really does apply here. You can't predict possible side-effects and you don't have a provider with whom you can consult so you have to monitor yourself carefully and be willing to call it quits if necessary. This product claims one will see results in about 45 days if you take 3 pills/day (even though you have to buy 2 bottles to fulfill that regimen). Other than "He Shou Wu", the remaining ingredients seem to be the standard found in multivitamins. Unfortunately, for me, the concentrations or ingredients, or both, caused some serious side-effects. In addition to the severe constipation reported by others (despite drinking plenty of water), there were the added problems of headaches and a missed period. Since mine are like clockwork this was the final impetus for me to discontinue using the product at day 47. Though my hair did not show any improvement, I hoped that with additional time strictly following the regimen I'd get the results I desired despite suffering through the drug's side-effects. Bad idea. My body finally had to give me the jolt I apparently needed to accept that something was very wrong. Two weeks after I discontinued the use of Fast Grow, I got a slow flow menses that has lasted nearly 3 weeks. But the other side-effects are gone and I feel more normal so hopefully I won't have to make a special visit to a health care provider and the effects won't be far reaching. Just be very careful when considering taking products like these.

I took this product for three and a half months. I did not see a dramatic change in the length of my hair, but it made my new growth really really soft. However I had to stop taking the product because I began having an allergic reaction to it. I would take a pill in the night before bed and wake up with swollen eye lids the next morning. This started to happen in the fourth month of use. Overall I would say it works in the short run but I would not recommend this product for long term use

I stopped using relaxers/chemicals in my hair about 5 years ago. For the next few years, my hair did not grow much. I see a big improvement in 3 weeks and just ordered a second bottle. My hair came out about a year ago. There was severe breakage at the edges, the top was completely bald and there were two bald tracks in the front of my head. Hair that remained was brittle and uneven. I have no idea why this happened unless it was cause by anemia. I was not using any chemicals when this happened. I used Jamacian black castrol w/pimento and about a month later began to alternate the Jamacian oil and Wild Growth Hair Oil. These two products did an excellent job of filling in my edges but the top of my scalp was still very thin. I took Hair Finity vitamins for 6 months but did not really see a difference. The top of my scalp has thicker hair after only 3 weeks on Fast Grow. When I hold a mirror under the bright lights in the bathroom to check out my scalp it is almost covered. I predict that after 2 months (2 bottles) I will have a completely covered scalp. I suggest that you give it a try. For me, it has been the fastest and most effective product in restoring my hair and I purchased MANY.

As with most folks, I am skeptical about products that are supposed to have 'miracle' results. Still, I purchased it and decided to give it a try. I am in no way an expert, this is solely my opinion based on my own experience. I received the product in the mail Dec 8th, and started taking it immediately. I followed the instructions of a previous reviewer, taking it 3 times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and followed it with plenty of fluids. I don't have a very healthy appetite for water, but I drink plenty of natural fruit juice and milk. My hair was braided when I began taking the pills. Also, I compared the ingredients of this product to another product I had been using to see the differences. Also, I cut my hair very short, 3in, the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving. So I did a lot to prepare myself for good, or average hair growth. On average, my hair grows about 1/2in per month. I went natural in May of this year, so all that was on my head was 6 months of new growth. After taking my braids down last week, I noticed my hair was about a good 4 1/2in long. I am very amazed by the results. That being said, I do not always take 3 pills a day, and I have missed at least 3 whole days of taking it. So I still have about 4 weeks of pills to take before the trial period is over. Like I said, my hair is natural, and since starting the pills, my hair has only been washed once and conditioned twice. Like a previous reviewer said, it won't work for everyone. You have to try and see what works for you. Before, my hair was dry and hard, did not grow like I wanted it (which is faster than it was) After a month taking this product I noticed my hair softer my new growth was soft too and I can comb through it, I had new growth already before taking this product but after 3 months of taking these pills my hair grew and noticed it after I relaxed it. I took these vitamins for more than six months and during that time I did not notice any enhanced hair growth or any noticeable improvement in my skin and nails though I was on a very healthy diet, drinking plenty of water and exercising regularly at the time. I stopped using them and decided to try getting the needed nutrients from natural sources so I turned to eating a breakfast consisting of wheat germ, wheat germ oil, milk, an egg and fresh fruits daily followed up with healthy servings of vegetables and yogurts and plenty of water for the remainder of my meals, and it was only then that I noticed improvements in my skin, hair and nails. My hair texture has improved, it is growing above average, my dry skin and scalp have normalized, my complexion has cleared and I have a lot of energy.
